575 Horsepower. Built with forged internals and a 351 Windsor small block this Ford Racing 460ci long black makes 575 hp at 5500 RPM with a 10:1 compression ratio making it perfect for naturally aspirated setups. Ford Racing engineered and built this 460 ci engine especially with street and track applications in mind.

Built Ford Tough. This Ford Racing crate engine is built with a 351 Windsor main block and features Mahle forged pistons with floating wrist pins, aluminum Ford Racing "Z" cylinder heads with 2.02" intake valves and 1.60" exhaust valves, and a hydraulic roller camshaft with 1.65:1 roller rocker arms. Additional features include SCAT forged steel H-beam connecting rods and a SCAT forged steel crankshaft.

Application. This Ford Racing 460 Cubic Inch Long Block is designed for use in street and track applications. Can also be used in a resto-mod, kit car or a custom car build.

Some or all of the following items may need to be changed from your original engine or modified for proper installation:
  • Depending on your application, a different timing cover, water pump, performance oil pan and pickup may be required.
  • Engine has a performance rear sump oil pan and pickup, standard rotation timing cover, standard rotation water pump and non-EFI valve covers.
  • Timing cover will work with most standard rotation water pumps
  • Fuel pump eccentric M-6287-B302 installed, allows use of mechanical fuel pump
  • Valve covers should fit most non-EFI applications. Optional valve covers sold separately.
  • The damper M-6316-D302 may require a spacer for pulley alignment.
  • Flywheel not included, use proper neutral balance flywheel
  • Intake manifold not included
  • Includes intake gaskets and pilot bearing
  • Firing order 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 (5.0L HO and 351W firing order)
