5 2008 Bullitt - DonF Installation Time: Afternoon

A bit of Boss for my Bullitt

I installed these Boss 302S relocation brackets along with tubular Boss 302 lower control arms, as well as the BMR adjustable upper control arm to help correct the suspension geometry and pinion angle on my Bullitt. The car also has the Ford Performance Adjustable Handling pack which lowers it about one and a quarter inches. I haven't driven it much yet, however I did notice a sportier and more connected ride quality on my test drive. NVH did not increase dramatically either which I am very pleased about. The install was pretty straight forward and once I figured out which bracket was left and right, they went on without much fuss. As other reviewers have stated the brackets are built really solidly and they fit like a factory part should. I also had mine powder coated for added protection and a clean look. Overall I'm very happy!

        boss 302S relocation brackets

received my brackets in ten days and they look very well made.have not put them on yet cuz waiting for my cobra jet springs . that should almost finish off the back end as I have all white line products.hopefully that will take care of some of the wheel hop .only gave the brackets 3 stars ,they could have painted or powder coated them but no biggy.. have to thank AM for the quick service and customer service people there

5 2005 GT - John Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        Boss LCA Relocation Brackets

Good fit, easy install, solid part. Just beware that your rear end alignment will probably shift and cause your steering to be off-center. Grab adjustable LCAs and you'll be good to go.

        More Traction Please

Can feel the tires being shoved in to the pavement. Great addition to my suspension. Worth the install.

        Beefy built relocation brackets.

After I saw my cousin snap a set of bmr relocation brackets on his first launch I decided to scrap the bmr's and went with this ford racing units. They make the bmr ones feel flimsy. You really can't go wrong with ford racing.

Boos 302S lower control arm relocation brackets

This product was as advertised and fit was excellent. Two comments is that I wish they would mark them left or right (driver or passenger side) as they aren't the same and took a very short time to get them right. Have to be a little creative to get the nut on the bolt on the drivers side but didn't slow me down. If the suspension is already apart, install takes 5-10 minutes

        4 2008 GT - mas64292 Installation Time: Afternoon

        Decent upgrade.

Driver's side fit great, but passenger's side was a bear to get on and lined up. Tougher to do on jack stands. Installed with poly bushed LCA's and adjustable poly bushed UCA. Minimal wheel hop on this combo based on cold pavement launch on UHP all-seasons.

        3 2013 GT500 - mjg31337 Installation Time: Afternoon

        Really a tough fit for a '13 500 with +SVT suspension

Given that it was being installed assuming, as this site, and everything from Ford racing suggests this fitment is compatible with Shelby's 13,14 i'd like to say straight up, if you own one of these years,or have what is part of the standard SVT performance package (not track pack) with a thick rear sway, this part DOESN'T FIT without modification. I was dumb enough to have a shop install it, and not test it first, luckily, their fabricators took some metal off one and it fit. Over all suggestion is to get BMR,and understand ford racing isn't compatible in certain expectations.

        Great product.

I installed this product with aftermarket upper and lower control arms and it will definitely help stop wheel hop and get you better hole shots.

Do I need to remove the axle damper weights in order to install a boss lower control arm relocation bracket on a 2012 GT? I was able to install a relocation bracket on the driver side without removing the damper weight on the axle. Other bracket instruction say you must remove it. But with the boss brackets I was able to install it without the damper from getting in the way. Is this normal for these weights?

      • Due to production tolerances, the damper weight does not need to be removed on all cars when installing the Ford Performance Boss 302S Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets

2014 GT with Brembo package - will these be useful I ordered my 2014 GT convertible with the Brembo brake package which includes GT 500 lower control arms, Will these relocation brackets apply? If so, will they improve handling?

      • I know they will not work with the stock GT arms which are similar in dimensions to the ones you have.
