My car is lowered 1.5". I would like to replace the lower control arms with the Ford Performance LCA's. Are these brackets absolutely needed for lowered vehicles? Will i need to replace the upper LCA's if i use these brackets?

        • This will not be needed for lowered cars but you will need to replace the LCA's if you use these brackets.

Just wanted to get the expert opinion on this build see what would work best? Thanks

Do I need to remove the axle damper weights in order to install a boss lower control arm relocation bracket on a 2012 GT? I was able to install a relocation bracket on the driver side without removing the damper weight on the axle. Other bracket instruction say you must remove it. But with the boss brackets I was able to install it without the damper from getting in the way. Is this normal for these weights?

        • Due to production tolerances, the damper weight does not need to be removed on all cars when installing the Ford Performance Boss 302S Lower Control Arm Relocation Brackets

A bit of Boss for my Bullitt

I installed these Boss 302S relocation brackets along with tubular Boss 302 lower control arms, as well as the BMR adjustable upper control arm to help correct the suspension geometry and pinion angle on my Bullitt. The car also has the Ford Performance Adjustable Handling pack which lowers it about one and a quarter inches. I haven't driven it much yet, however I did notice a sportier and more connected ride quality on my test drive. NVH did not increase dramatically either which I am very pleased about. The install was pretty straight forward and once I figured out which bracket was left and right, they went on without much fuss. As other reviewers have stated the brackets are built really solidly and they fit like a factory part should. I also had mine powder coated for added protection and a clean look. Overall I'm very happy!

            Boss LCA Relocation Brackets

Good fit, easy install, solid part. Just beware that your rear end alignment will probably shift and cause your steering to be off-center. Grab adjustable LCAs and you'll be good to go.

Can feel the tires being shoved in to the pavement. Great addition to my suspension. Worth the install.

            Beefy built relocation brackets.

After I saw my cousin snap a set of bmr relocation brackets on his first launch I decided to scrap the bmr's and went with this ford racing units. They make the bmr ones feel flimsy. You really can't go wrong with ford racing.

Boos 302S lower control arm relocation brackets

This product was as advertised and fit was excellent. Two comments is that I wish they would mark them left or right (driver or passenger side) as they aren't the same and took a very short time to get them right. Have to be a little creative to get the nut on the bolt on the drivers side but didn't slow me down. If the suspension is already apart, install takes 5-10 minutes

            Decent upgrade.

Driver's side fit great, but passenger's side was a bear to get on and lined up. Tougher to do on jack stands. Installed with poly bushed LCA's and adjustable poly bushed UCA. Minimal wheel hop on this combo based on cold pavement launch on UHP all-seasons.

            Really a tough fit for a '13 500 with +SVT suspension

Given that it was being installed assuming, as this site, and everything from Ford racing suggests this fitment is compatible with Shelby's 13,14 i'd like to say straight up, if you own one of these years,or have what is part of the standard SVT performance package (not track pack) with a thick rear sway, this part DOESN'T FIT without modification. I was dumb enough to have a shop install it, and not test it first, luckily, their fabricators took some metal off one and it fit. Over all suggestion is to get BMR,and understand ford racing isn't compatible in certain expectations.

I installed this product with aftermarket upper and lower control arms and it will definitely help stop wheel hop and get you better hole shots.

            May not fit

Great product BUT. May not fit the mustangs that have the sway bar relocation bracket. I have the 2012V6 with item # 47816 The relocation bracket of the sway bar, brings the sway bar bolt very close to the axle. If you tru fitting the FRPP BOS 302 LCA relocation bracket, you may notice that there isn't sufficient room. But I heard good reviews about the LCA brackets and are a must have. Be careful if you have sway bar relocation brackets. Consult with AM experts

            Boss LCA Relocation Brackets

This part was a straight forward installation. It did as designed; corrected my LCA-axle geometry and greatly improved traction along with Steeda LCAs. My only issue with the brackets is that it somehow has created a vibration throughout the car at high speeds (95+ MPH) which I'm 99% sure is because it threw my pinion angle off slightly. Be prepared to have to get an Upper Control Arm to correct the pinion angle after you get this bracket. But hey, that's a fact of life when upgrading. Eventually nothing will be OEM. I still highly recommend these brackets for anyone who lowered their ride. If you're car isn't lowered, these brackets would do nothing for you.

            Product delivers

I had ordered Steeda reloc brackets before I realized they needed welding. I returned them and got the Boss 302S instead. They are extremely strong and bolted in nicely. They got rid of the wheel hop issue I was having when I added my M&H drag radials. They didn't come with instructions, so after playing with them a little bit I figured out how they mount. Overall a pretty easy install. I had a bit of an issue with the axle damper weight fitting back on, but after letting them settle the weight fit in fine.

            Great product

Installed these along with J&M Extreme Joint LCAs, and everything went very well. I did a ton of research on LCA brackets because there have been reports of brackets from certain companies failing on high HP GTs and GT500s, resulting in terrible damage. I determined that these were the absolute best ones available. The fitment was very precise and worked perfectly in the end. I did weld them to the frame to ensure maximum strength, but for wheel horsepower below 500, I'm sure the bolts alone will be plenty.

            Best on the market

These are big beefy relocation brackets that fit very well and instill confidence that my 60' times aren't going to rip them right off. They don't hang too low so ground clearance is great. They fit very tight so a bit of muscle is needed to get them to fit properly. They even have enough room to fit my Hotchkis control arms.

These reloc bracs are the nicest out. Really beefy. I installed these with FR500C LCAs. Wheel hop is gone. I can now snatch the clutch out at 3k bury the throttle and barely chirp the tires. Super fun.

            Fit, but not great.

These brackets are well made, but not as impressive as other brands. The included spacers are to wide and had to be ground down to fit within the stock bracket. The brackets themselves are to wide for my aftermarket LCAs (which are the same width as stock). Tightening the lower bolt down does bring the sides in, but they are at an angle so the sides are not flush against the bushings in my LCAs. I don't have any noises after 500miles so hopefully everything is ok.

            FRPP LCA Relocation Brackets

Easy install. Remove one LCA at a time. Panhard bar bolt on driver side holds upper bracket. Supplied bolt on the passenger side. Less wheel hop and stronger launch. Recommend!!
