Description
Better Braking at Speed. On the track, you need reliable brakes that work even when the temperature rises. The Hawk Performance DTC-70 Brake Pads are a good track choice. With an operating temperature range of 400-1600 degrees, these pads provide excellent and controllable torque, even after you've been running laps all day.
Reliable and Durable Construction. Made from a ferro-carbon compound, these semi-metallic brake pads are designed to wear well, even with heavy use. With high fade resistance, you don't need to worry about losing braking power when you need it most.
Slight Dust and Noise Levels. Racing pads are louder and produce more dust than stock pads. At lower temperatures, brake pads aren't operating at peak efficiency, and at high speeds and once they warm up, all pads shed dust. The DTC-70 pads produce very little dust for racing pads, and are also on the quiet side, particularly for semi-metallic pads.
Simple Installation. DTC-70 rear brake pads are easy enough to install that you could use stock pads on your way to the track and then swap before the race. The entire installation only takes about 2 hours and uses hand tools only.
Limited Lifetime Warranty. Brakes are an essential part of the car safety system, so they need to be high-quality. Hawk Performance backs their pads with a limited lifetime warranty. For information about exclusions or limitations, please check the manufacturer's website.
