Description
Performance Flexplate Upgrade. The Hays Steel SFI Certified Flexplate is engineered to meet the demands of high-performance and competition Ford Modular V8 engines. It connects the engine crankshaft to the torque converter, ensuring reliable power transfer and resistance to cracking under heavy stress. Its design preserves drivetrain integrity when used with high-stall torque converters and operating at elevated RPMs.
Construction and Appearance. This flexplate is fabricated from thicker steel plate than factory stock, enhancing durability under stress. It features a zinc dichromate plated finish that provides superior corrosion resistance while maintaining a clean, professional appearance. The ring gear is securely welded, and the flexplate includes dual bolt patterns to accommodate various transmission applications.
Installation. Installation is straightforward and designed to directly replace the stock flexplate without modifications or drilling, providing seamless integration with compatible engines and transmissions.
Application. Fits select Ford Modular V8 4.6L engines with a 6-bolt crankshaft pattern. Verify specific vehicle and transmission compatibility to ensure proper fitment.
