      Description

      Advanced Transmission Crossmember. The Hooker BlackHeart 1993-2002 T56/T56 Magnum/4L60-4L70/4L80-4L85/TH400/2004R transmission crossmember is engineered to enable the installation of non-original transmissions behind LS engines in 4th-generation GM F-body vehicles. This solution offers strong and reliable mounting essential for LS and transmission swaps, supporting a variety of transmission models for increased versatility and performance.

      Construction and Appearance. Constructed from durable steel, the crossmember features CAD-designed precision for optimal fitment and strength. The semi-gloss black powder coat finish enhances corrosion resistance while providing an attractive, professional appearance.

      Installation. Installation is generally straightforward with minimal modifications needed. Some applications, such as the 4L80-4L85 transmission, may require body bracing modifications or notching, but excessive drilling is typically not necessary.

      Application. Designed to fit 1993-2002 GM F-body vehicles, including Camaro and Firebird models, with particular fitment focus on 1998-2002 Camaro applications.
