Description
Thermal Insulation And Sound Deadening. The Hushmat Sound Deadening and Insulation Kit; Roof provides effective thermal insulation and noise reduction for vehicle roofs. It is designed to significantly lower heat transfer and vibration noise from the roof, improving cabin comfort by keeping interior temperatures cooler and reducing unwanted sound. Installation involves applying custom-cut sheets specifically packaged for the vehicle’s year, make, and model for seamless coverage.
Construction and Appearance. The kit is constructed from a compounded blend of butyl rubbers laminated with polymer and silver foil backing. It offers durability to withstand extreme temperatures and environmental exposure without cracking or degrading. The material is 1.5mm thick with a smooth foil finish available in black polymer on silver backing, designed to conform tightly to vehicle surfaces while providing excellent acoustic and thermal properties.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a peel-and-stick adhesive backing that allows easy placement without drilling or special tools. The material conforms easily to roof contours and can be cut to size with regular scissors or knives as needed.
Application. This insulation and sound deadening kit fits the 2005 to 2013 Corvette C6, designed specifically to match the dimensions of the vehicle’s roof for complete thermal and acoustic protection.
