Description
Thermal Insulation And Sound Deadening. The Hushmat Sound Deadening and Insulation Kit for the roof is designed to reduce heat transfer and vibration noise from your vehicle’s roof. It helps maintain a comfortable cabin temperature by blocking radiant heat from the sun and dampening noise caused by roof vibrations and rain, providing a quieter and more comfortable ride.
Construction And Appearance. This kit features a proprietary blend of butyl rubbers laminated to a reflective foil backing, forming a durable 1.5mm thick composite. The material is black polymer on one side and silver foil on the backing, designed for long-lasting performance under extreme temperature and environmental conditions up to 240°C.
Installation. Installation is straightforward with a peel-and-stick adhesive that requires no drilling or special tools. The material is flexible enough to conform to the roof’s contours and provides a full coverage fit without the need for puzzle-piece assembly.
Application. This product is custom packaged and engineered specifically for 2014 to 2019 Corvette C7 roofs, ensuring precise fit and full coverage for effective heat and noise reduction.
