Is this the issue with a weak AC system? I had the dreaded clicking noise before I replaced my AC system 2 years ago, so the shop "fixed" the clicking noise along with the AC, but the noise came back a few months later. Now I feel like my AC sucks.

    • Unfortunately we do not have enough information to assist you with this. We recommend a qualified Mechanic inspect your A/C system for proper operation.

      Doesn't fit on 2010 GT

Bad news : this item can't replace the original one in mustang 2010 GT. The box design is a little different see my photo. In my case, after opening the noisy actuator, i have seen that only one teeth was broken on big pignon. So to fix I decided to rotate pignon at 180°, and to remove a teeth on external pignion to keep the ajustement with ventilation flap.

      Did not fit properly

I can't give more than 1star as this didn't fit my 2011 Mustang properly. I tried 1st and wanted to confirm with my local shop. They had the same problem so I grabbed an OEM from Ford and it went in seamlessly. Maybe the one I received wasn't made to print but I can't confirm that.

      Quick and Easy

I simply replaced my bad actuator located under the glove box. It solved my problem. I don't hear the clicking noise anymore.
