Description
Mid-Range Performance Upgrade. The Kelford Cams LS Series 226/232 Camshaft; 0.600-Inch Lift is designed to enhance mid-range throttle response in LS engines equipped with rectangle port heads. This camshaft delivers strong performance where mid-range RPM power is prioritized over top-end speed, making it ideal for street-driven builds focused on everyday drivability and immediate throttle response.
Construction and Characteristics. This camshaft is engineered for reliable valve train operation under demanding conditions. Note that it produces a rough idle, which is typical for cams tuned for enhanced mid-range power.
Installation. Compatible with LS Series V8 engines using a 3 bolt camshaft system. Installation requires proper mechanical expertise but does not necessitate drilling or major engine modifications.
Application. Specifically designed to fit 97-13 Corvette C5 & C6 models, excluding 06-13 Z06 due to different engine specifications and valvetrain requirements, ensuring optimal compatibility and performance.
