Description
Reinforced Differential Cover. The stock IRS differential cover can break and leak due to impacts during a wheel hop because of the thin material and freely moving center section. The Maximum Motorsports Modified Ford Performance IRS Differential Cover features a thick, aluminum cover that is reinforced and designed to prevent movement of the center section. This results in a dramatic decrease in the possibility of breakage. Additionally, the cover is precisely machined to accommodate the outstanding MM Aluminum Differential Mounts used in drag racing.
CNC-Machined Aluminum Construction. The Modified IRS Differential Cover is made from thick and durable aluminum alloy to provide the toughness and durability that is well above that of the stock cover. Additionally, the precision-machining gives the cover the necessary clearance to be used with the MM Aluminum Differential Mounts without weakening its structure.
Direct Fit Replacement Upgrade. The Modifed IRS Differential Cover is designed for an OE fit and doesn’t require any additional fabrication. A step-by-step installation instruction sheet is included.
Application. The Maximum Motorsports Modified Ford Performance IRS Differential Cover is designed for use with 1999 to 2004 Ford Mustang Cobra models. The MM Aluminum Differential Mounts is sold separately.
