How to Install Modern Billet Upper Mesh Grille - Black (15-17 All) on your Ford Mustang

Step 1:
You will have to start by removing the front bumper using the supplied guide. Then begin by removing the plastic bumper brace. Gently bend tabs as needed to remove support.

Step 2:
Next you will remove the factory grille by bending the tabs so that you can pull the grille away from the bumper cover. **Note this can be alittle tricky take your time.

Step 3:
Remove and discard the rubber mounting tab covers.

Step 4:
Center the grill side to side and top to bottom. **Note: The orientation of the mounting points to the bumper cover as seen in the below pictures. Once you are have the grille centered, mark where you need to drill your mount holes.

Step 5:
Do not attempt to drill through the grille mount-ing tab while drilling your mounting holes. Drill the mounting holes, and attach the grille with the supplied hardware. **Note: Do not over tighten the mounting hardware. Tighten the hardware so that the bumper doesn't pull towards the grill resulting in an uneven gap and wavy appearance.

Although not absolutely necessary, jacking the vehicle up and removing the front wheels before beginning makes it a bit easier to remove the front bumper cover. 

Step 1:
Remove the 8 clips securing the plastic radiator cover to the support and remove it from the vehicle.

Step 2:
Remove the 8 bolts securing the bumper cover to the rad support.

Step 3:
On each side of the bumper, remove the plastic clips holding the fender liner to the bumper.

Step 4:
Fold back the fender liner so that you can access the one 8mm bolt that holds the bumper to the fender. **Note: this bolt is tricky helps to remove the wheel to access it.
