Hey everyone, I'm Justin with americanmuscle.com. This is my breakdown of the Power Stop cross drilled and slotted rotor and pad kit available for all 1994 to 2014 Mustangs. Power Stop is a company that specializes in producing quality braking components for a wide variety of applications, all with the goal of increasing your stopping power for a very affordable price. We have had some recent experience with Power Stop's kit on our 2014 GT project car named Project Coyote, and if you guys want, you can click on that link below. You can check out all of our project car builds and also subscribe to our YouTube channel while you're there to check out more in depth detailed product overviews. This particular Power Stop kit, as I mentioned earlier, is available for just about every generation Mustang there is, including the newer Brembo cars, and really is a great bang for your buck mod. With this kit, you do get both the front and rear cross drilled and slotted rotors in addition to the brand new ceramic pads for the same price other companies are charging just for the front two rotors alone. Now that you know what's included with the kit, let's break down the individual components a little further. As I mentioned earlier, you do get the front and rear rotors, both of which have been cross drilled and slotted. If you're not aware of the benefits of running a cross drilled and slotted rotor, here's the deal. They will actually prevent a little excess heat from building up, and it also reduces some brake fade after a few repetitive hard stops. The rotors have also been silver zinc coated to help prevent any possible rust or corrosion from building up and to ensure that the rotors themselves remain looking good for years to come.Speaking of looking good, it's hard to deny the fact that a set of cross drilled and slotted rotors just look amazing on any car and add a much more aggressive look to the car itself. In fact, don't take my word for it. You can always click on the link below to check out the customer submitted images and reviews of these rotors on our very own customer pages. That way, you get a good look at what these rotors might look like on your very own Mustang. Again, click on the link below to check out the products page, if you're not there already.Moving on to the pads, the Power Stop kit does include the Evolution carbon ceramic brake pad which will help you in a couple of different ways. For starters, that carbon ceramic compound will allow for higher brake temperatures but with less brake fade, increasing your overall stopping power. In addition, these pads will be a little bit more quiet, and they will also produce less brake dust, helping to keep your wheels a lot cleaner.Installing a new set of brakes and rotors on any Mustang is actually a pretty straightforward job that just about any owner should feel confident in tackling using some basic hand tools and a lift or jack. You have to keep in mind, guys, you are tackling all four corners here, so expect to spend about three hours at least, or a nice Saturday or Sunday afternoon, in the garage to get everything knocked out.You definitely want to follow the manufacturer's recommended vetting process with the new set of pads and rotors to get the optimal performance and wear out of your setup. If you need more info about this, you can always check out the product page, or do not hesitate to get in touch with one of our award winning customer service agents by phone or by email. If you're looking to upgrade the brakes on your '94 and newer Mustang for a very affordable price, well then you have to check out the Power Stop kit available right here at americanmuscle.com.

Don't Waste Your Time
A total nightmare that will take you several hours to install. You will need a second set of hands while you try and mark where to drill the holes. Keeping in mind that the metal grille can scratch your part as it continuously moves around while you try and align it properly to mark the holes. The fit is terrible leaving gaps ranging from 1/8" to 1/4".Helpful (10)

Not Even Close. Run Away
Will be returning this grille. I own a 2015 Mustang GT Took this to a Roush/Mustang dealer for installation. The gaps and miss measured manufacturing was laughable, the cost wasn't. Very irresponsible of AM to ship this. This is the way you loose customers. BE. VancouverHelpful (12)

Fitment was horrendous. Great 10 footer though.
The grille itself looks absolutely beautiful, very well constructed and build right. The problem is that it was designed horribly. Gaps EVERYWHERE, especially corners; No screws for side clips, and there wasn't even enough hardware for each provided drill spot. Really disappointed. The only reason this is even a decent 10 footer look is because my car is black and you can't see the gaps unless you're really looking for them. Which sucks because competing in car shows - that's what they look for.Helpful (6)

Be prepared to make some mods
Hey yall, just wanted to share so info on my purchase, so when the grille first came in .. it wasn't formed to the right spec. of the vehicle , not only that with this piece you have to do a little drilling in order to actually install it .. Pretty much had to kind of bend it a little in place in order for me to get proper hole alignment on the clips.. other than that it came out looking looking really good on the stand. can't take that from it.its a sexy looking grille.Helpful (6)

Looks great and more airflow too!
This combo kit was a deal for the asking price and made of some very solid materials too. The installation however is a bit more involved than the video displays so be prepared to add another 1-2 hours to your project. It was rather straight forward and total romoval of the front fascia and bumper cover is involved. It's a great time to install after market electric push fans too while the front cover is off. After the install It looks exactly like I had hoped it would and airflow to the engine bay and radiators is improved by 100.Helpful (5)

Black Mesh Grille
First off what pushed me towards this grille is that I didn't want an overlay type grille but a true replacement. The installation is not as easy as presented. There is an 8mm bolt that holds the side of the fascia to the frame. It is extremely difficult to get to without taking the wheels off. I chose not to and it added a lot of extra time to the install. If you choose this product(After my experience I would go with the other product that has the direct replacement upper grille and overlay for the lower) I can give a few installation tips that will work with any of the grille replacements 1. go ahead and take off the tires. That 8mm bolt is nearly impossible to get to without doing so. I had a 72 tooth ratchet and literally removed the bolt one click at a time. That accounts for the afternoon install. 2. when taking off the factory grille set the fascia upright and use a trim removal tool on the tabs. 3. Have a buddy help you to center the grille and hold it while you mark the holes. It is difficult to do by yourself but it can be done. 4. when you reinstall the fascia don't try to reconnect the lights while you are holding it just put it in place. The lights are very easy to reach from the wheel wells(especially with the tires off) The grille looks great on the car. As an added bonus it does significantly lower the air inlet. I have seen an average drop of 8-10 degrees.Helpful (6)

Not bad, but not good either.
The grilles are put on by screws and bolts. I would prefer if the new grilles back on the fascia better like the old one.Helpful (6)

Grille does not look bad, and it seems durable. However the fitment was questionable. I don't know if every one of these specific grilles has slight fitment issues, but mine definitely did. Install is straight forward as quoted but it's a frustrating one. Having to drill holes is a bit of a let down. Not every tab on the metal grille lined up just right when I got it centered, not to mention since this thing is metal (but powder coated) you have the potential to scratch up your paint while trying to get it installed. If you want to risk the fitment and deal with the install, including drilling into the tabs on your bumper cover (you'll never see them) then this could work for you. I'd personally like something more along the lines of the RTR grille and should have forked out the extra $$ for it, and I even might in the future. But for now I have this mesh grille and it looks good on my black GT.Helpful (8)
can I put the stock grille back ? Does this affect the car in any way ? I mean is it the same as the stock one ? or is it just a shape ?
Once this grille is installed, unfortunately the factory grille will not fit.
Is there any danger to the radiator if someone were to delete the grills all together?
If the grilles are deleted the radiator will be more exposed to whatever would have the possibility of going through the bumper.
can I put my pony emblem back on?
Unfortunately there is no reattachment bracket for the pony emblem.
On the left it says not an overlay like other companies, but on the whats in the box side it says lower grille overlay......so which is it? Thank you Mike Armand
The upper part of the Modern Billet Black Mesh Grille (15-17 GT, EcoBoost, V6) will not be a overlay and you will be replacing your factory grille. However for the bottom part of the grille will be just an overlay.
