      Description

      High Performance Component. The McLeod Aluminum Flywheel; 6 Bolt is designed to reduce rotational mass, improving engine response and acceleration. It is used in performance applications where reduced weight and quick RPM changes are critical. This flywheel supports higher horsepower engines and is ideal for supercharged or turbocharged setups.

      Construction and Appearance. CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum for strength and lightness, this flywheel includes a replaceable steel friction plate paired with a hardened 1045 steel ring gear. Its finish is naturally metallic with precision machining marks, ensuring durability and optimal performance under stress.

      Installation. Installation requires basic mechanical skills and standard tools with no additional drilling necessary, thanks to precise OEM-compatible dimensions. It fits directly onto the crankshaft with included 28oz and 50oz counterweights to ensure proper balance.

      Warranty. This product carries a 90-day warranty against defects in material and workmanship.

      Application. Specifically designed to fit 1979 to 1995 V8 Mustangs equipped with SBF 289, 302, or 351 engines.
