will this 4# lower work with a 2.81 upper?

        • No not on a factory Eaton.....you're just going to overwork it and produce heat.....

With an aux idler. And S/C pulley of 2.93 its been Bama tuned and long tube headers. It started stock boost 8. 2.93 Pulley went to 10 psi. Long tube headers an no cats dropped boost back down to 6 to 8psi. Would the metco lower pulley kit bring psi back up to say 10 to 11psi? And if so will it work the blower to hard? Also does it effect assesorys like altanator, cus pulley ratio change?

        • The Metco Motorsports Crank Pulley Kit will increase boost by approximately 4psi, this should put you to 10-12 psi. The reason the boost went down with the long tubes is that the lower restriction causes less pressure, so the airflow increased, but pressure dropped. This kit combined with your other modifications should not overtax the stock Eaton supercharger, however you will be getting close to the max efficient boost level, as after this the heat the Eaton generates starts to outweigh the boost gains, and a more efficient supercharger would work better.

Already have a 2.8 upper, will this require bigger injectors?

        • This would not require bigger injectors no.

Will this over work the Eaton supercharger if it already has a 2.76 pulley? If so will a aftermarket heat exchanger fix that?

Do i have to tune the car after intall

        • When installing the Metco Motorsports Crank Pulley Kit it is best to retune the car, or consult with your tuner if a new tune will be required compared to your existing tune.

            Boost pulley

Install was easy the hard part was getting the factory crank pulley off. That was no simple task also you will need a 1400foot pound impact to brake it free. Only other thing is American muscle needs to add belt size chart to this product.

            Looks great

My big advice, don’t do what I did and over estimate yourself, follow the instructions they say to do something and at first your like that doesn’t make since I’ll figure it out on my own and ya ratchets later you realize what they want you to remove one thing before removing crank pulley from your car!
