        12 inch auxiliary fan

Fits like a glove, weather a little cold out to make sure it's working properly but I have a feeling that there will be no problems.

Pushes less air than cougar fan

I have little to no experience with electric fans, but I was disappointed by this one. When I bought the car, the previous owner had put in a twin fan setup out of a v6 cougar that pushed a lot of air. When one of the fans went bad, I decided to upgrade it and went with this "performance" option. Putting into the cougar shroud was challenging, but it obviously wasn't made for that. However, the other cougar fan that I still have in the car alongside this new one pushes significantly more air than this fan. Why spend $70 on a fan when you can get a twin fan set up with shroud and everything that pushes more air from the junkyard for a fraction of the cost?

        5 1996 GT - James96 Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        More Room

The Mishimoto fan cleared up a lot of room, the stock fan was to bulky. I also purchased the Mishimoto radiator, both products together inhances the appearance under the hood.

        4 2003 V6 - 413X Installation Time: Less than 1 Hour

        It's a fan.

Ordered this and it did not come with ties, springs, or the foam protector pads so I had to zip tie it to the OE fan shroud. Not satisfied with that as I'm not sure it's secure, however, I wasn't expecting it to help much but I no longer get P1284 (cylinder over temp. sensed) so I guess it does its job.

        5 1994 V6 - Nick

        12 inch fan

At first i was worried it wouldn't do a good job. stock fan was 16inch i think and going down to a 12 didn't seem like it would do much. I was wrong, this fan pushes more air (you can feel it) then the big heavy fan. Lost a few lbs and my motor is kept cooler. Easy install, came with plastic holders that you can move around to fit your car. I took the old fan houseing and mod it so the new fan fit inside it, after a year it still works perfect. I may have gone with a bigger one how ever just to make install easyer or if you have alot of add ons that heat up.

        Not what i thought

Says to upgrade the existing OEM fan. Well only if your existing fan is an aftermarket one. Stock is way to big so i had to do some custom work. However it does move some air and keeps it cool which is good!

      5 Top Rated Questions

I have a 14inch mishimoto fan I want to add a 12 inch fan so they offset eachother on my 97 mustang v6 I'm currently running the 14 in fan off the two factor wires that supply the old fan can I tie in the 12inch fan to the same circuit it has a 60 amp fuse

Is there any special wiring i will need to do so this will work on my 1995 Mustang Gt? Also where can i find a shroud to fit this?

      • The Mishimoto 12 in. Performance Slim Electric Radiator Fan is a universal fan, and will only include the wires for power and ground. you will need to install your own relay and switch, or thermostatic fan controller to complete installation. This can be used with or without a shroud, however at this time we do not offer any shrouds.

would this product be a good upgrade for my 93 lx

      • An electric fan is a great upgrade for the Foxbody Mustangs, as it reduces drag on the engine and increases cooling. We would recommend a fan with a shroud to maximize cooling.

Can I fit 2 of these side by side on my 2000 GT? My turbo is generating too much heat and the 14 inch mishimoto isn't cutting it.

      • There will not be adequate space to mount two of the Mishimoto 12 in. Performance Slim Electric Radiator Fans on your radiator.
