Hey, guys, Adam here with americanmuscle.com. Today I'm bringing you a quick overview and installation of the Mishimoto Hoonigan oil filler cap in silver, which is available for all '05 and newer GT, V6, and EcoBoost Mustangs. In this video, I'll be going over the styling and appearance you can expect from the Mishimoto Hoonigan oil filler cap, as well as its materials and construction. I'll top off the video with the install, if you can even call it that, which of course gets a one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter and should only take about a minute. The Mishimoto Hoonigan oil filler cap in silver will be for any '05 and newer GT, V6, or EcoBoost Mustang owner who's looking to pick up a very unique detail for the underhood dress-up in their engine bay, without going with one of those silver dress-up pieces. This is gonna have the brand names that are very well-known, such as Mishimoto, and the legendary Hoonigan. As far as styling and appearance goes here, I'm not gonna spend too much time on it, simply because it's very straightforward. This 3D-looking H here that's protruding out from the actual cap cover is gonna be representing the Hoonigan name as you can see printed in white on the side here. On the other side, you'll notice "Engineered by Mishimoto," simply because Mishimoto is manufacturing this to completely seal off the factory oil filler location, the crankcase, and the PCV system, allowing it to work optimally, all in harmony with this pretty stylish piece under your hood. Now, the good thing about this is, it's got a pretty well-known name behind it, like the Hoonigan name, which I'll touch on in just a second. Now, for those of you who aren't exactly familiar with what Hoonigan means and what it represents, Hoonigan is a motorsport lifestyle brand founded by none other than the legendary Ken Block. Now, you might recognize Ken Block from his Gymkhana series which actually features one 850-plus horsepower 1965 all-wheel-drive Mustang. That's right, all-wheel-drive Mustang, the only one in existence. Those legendary films you can find on YouTube. But of course, he has founded this Hoonigan brand. Now, the word "Hoonigan" is actually defined from Ken Block as a person who operates a motor vehicle in an aggressive or unorthodox manner, consisting of, but not limited to, drifting, burnouts, donuts, automotive aeronautics, things of that nature. So, if you are one who hoons [SP], this might be something that you're interested in, and the Hoonigan name might be for you. So what's pretty cool about this kit that comes in this nice little box is, when you open it up, you actually get this Hoonigan H oil filler cap cover, as well as this little car that you see here. The front wheel is an 8-millimeter wrench, the rear a 10-millimeter wrench, and, get this, the rear spoiler actually acts as a bottle opener. Now this, in my personal opinion, is really cool. You get the Hoonigan name in the front, "M" pushed to the limits, the Mishimoto slogan on the back, and that of course comes free with the Mishimoto oil cap filler. As far as materials and construction goes, Mishimoto had this CNC-machined out of a durable lightweight billet aluminum, with the "H" CNC-machined right on top here. You get the white Hoonigan name in brackets on the side, as well as "Engineered by Mishimoto" on the other. This is finished in a gunmetal silver material and colored, just to give it that attractive finish. As far as the pricing goes with this Hoonigan-Mishimoto mashup, if you're interested in it, you can spend just about 50 bucks to get this for yourself. I know that is a pretty pricey tag for a simple oil filler, but you are getting a very, very unique design with the "H" here from Hoonigan, very durable materials from Mishimoto, all mashed up with, of course, this car/wrench/bottle opener thing that you get included in the kit. In my personal opinion, if you're interested in the Hoonigan name and you're looking to get this kind of underhood dress-up, I'd push this into your direction. Now, as far as the installation goes here, if you can even call it that, all you'll have to do, unscrew the factory oil filler cap, screw on the new one from Mishimoto and Hoonigan. Very simple stuff, about a minute's worth of time in the driveway at home, which is why it gets that one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter. Just to wrap things up here, if you're the owner of an '05 or newer Mustang, whether it's a GT, or V6, or the newer EcoBoost models, you might be interested in getting a very unique detail under your hood for dress-up, which you might be interested in the Mishimoto Hoonigan oil filler cap in silver, which can be found right here at americanmuscle.com.
