      Description

      Improve Steering Response. Get rid of that sloppy unresponsive factory steering setup by upgrading your Mustang to a Maximum Motorsports Power Steering Shaft for sharp precise steering. The factory shaft has a rubber rag-joint that flexes causing annoying play in the steering wheel, the Maximum Motorsports Performance Steering Shaft eliminates this flexing by using race-quality needle-bearing U-joints.

      U-Joints. The Maximum Motorsports Steering Shaft features two race-quality needle-bearing U-joints that are welded to the shaft, so there are no set screws to loosen or lose.

      Telescoping. The unique telescoping design of the Maximum Motorsports Performance Steering Shaft can be lengthened up to 3/4" longer than the factory shaft, to allow for repositioning of the steering rack. This particular design of a collapsible center section prevents the two halves from pulling apart and makes for an easier installation.

      Application. The Maximum Motorsports Steering Shaft is designed to fit all 1994 to 2004 Mustangs equipped with power steering, including the V6, GT, Bullitt, Mach 1 and SVT Cobra models.
