Hey, guys, Stephanie with americanmuscle.com, here with a review and install of the pre-painted MMD by FOOSE Chin Spoiler, that will fit the 2015 and newer GT, EcoBoost, and V6 Mustang. In this video, we're gonna talk about a few different things when it comes to this spoiler. We're gonna talk about the styling, the materials and construction, and the install as well. Now, I'll get into more detail with the install later, but I can tell you right now that this is an easy install, and I'm going to call it a one out of three wrenches in the difficulty meter. The MMD by FOOSE pre-painted chin spoiler is going to be for those S550 owners out there that are looking for a chin spoiler that's going to blend with the body lines of the car and that's available already pre-painted to match your Mustang's color. This is once again another collab between Chip Foose and MMD, with the goal of making a piece that has clean but custom styling. This chin spoiler definitely has a unique and different look than anything else that's offered on the site. This is currently the only pre-painted chin spoiler that's available for the S550 on the site, and that does help it to stand out and look different than your other options, which tend to be black or carbon fiber.Even though it does look different, Chip Foose and MMD work together to make this a design that has clean and custom styling and that works with the lines of the car and the factory grilles. This spoiler will arrive to you pre-painted and ready to go right out of the box. It's painted right here at AmericanMuscle, with the same base and clear coat paint that Ford uses from the factory, so you know that it's gonna match your factory paint perfectly. When it comes to materials, this is made from an injection molded ABS plastic. That means it's gonna be lightweight and have a long life. ABS is commonly used for exterior pieces because it has that long life, impact resistance, and because it's light weight. So, don't expect a big, heavy piece with this chin spoiler. One other thing that I did wanna mention here before we talk about the price is that this is designed to look nice with a matching set of MMD by FOOSE rocker panels. The chin spoiler and the rocker panels go hand in hand, and they just complete the look of the car. When it comes to price, you can expect to pay close to the $400 mark, all said and done out the door. This is a bit more than what the normal black chin spoilers cost, but this isn't the most expensive option out there, and keep in mind that it comes ready to go out of the box, fully paint-matched to your Mustang. So, the install here is not difficult at all. It's gonna be a one out of three wrenches in the difficulty meter, and you can expect to spend an hour tops getting this on the car. You don't have to make any modifications to get this installed on your car unless you have a Track Pack car. If you do, you're looking at needing to trim and drill the splash shield some for proper fitment. You won't need any special tools unless you are looking at needing to trim and drill some. Overall, just your normal hand tools though and, of course, a jack and jack stands or even a lift to make things easier for you. You don't need to remove the bumper for the install, just a splash shield that comes off very easily. Spoiler does replace your factory chin spoiler, so that will need to be removed as well. You can then fit up your new chin spoiler using the factory hardware and reinstall the splash shield, if you got a non-Track Pack car, that is. If you have a Track Pack car, you need to drill out the rivet on the chin spoiler braze, make some measurements, and trim the splash shield so that it will fit with the FOOSE chin spoiler. It might sound involved, but it's really not difficult, and MMD gives you step-by-step instructions on how to do this to make it easier for you. Wrapping things up with the MMD by FOOSE Chin Spoiler, this is currently the only paint-matched chin spoiler that's available on the site, and it's designed by Chip Foose and MMD to create an aggressive muscle car styling that flows with the lines of the Mustang. As always, you can check it out more online right here at americanmuscle.com.
