MMD GT350 Style Window Covers; Pre-Painted (05-09 Mustang Coupe)

Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m taking a closer look at MMD’s pre painted quarter window covers fitting the 05-09 Mustang. This is another cool and innovative mod from industry leader MMD who continue to produce must have parts for Mustangs of all ages. Ok so we used these pre painted covers on our 2011 bolt on build up V6, and ever since I’ve been a huge fan. As you can see, these covers have been designed to fit into the quarter window openings perfectly, really giving the back half of the car a very unique look. In fact, if you look hard enough, with that quarter window filled in, you can almost envision the long drawn out trunk lines of the late 70’s Mach 1. As for the covers themselves, we’re looking at a lightweight and very durable ABS plastic construction and of course that pre painted finish we mentioned earlier. These covers have been painted right here at AmericanMuscle headquarters, using the same base and clear coat that Ford uses in their factories, which of course translates into a perfect color match for your ride. Included in the package you’ll find everything needed for the install, including the 3M automotive tape, the adhesion promoter, the alcohol prep pads and finally the detailed instructions. You’ll first want to prep the back of each cover using the adhesion promoter, and just wipe it along the edges wherever the 3M tape will go. Once you’ve done that simply install the 3M tape and set the cover aside. Move over to your windows, grab the alcohol prep pad, and just wipe the window down thoroughly making sure it’s clean. Once you’ve done that, simply remove the protective backing on the 3M automotive tape, and install the covers carefully. Doing all this should take you no more than 30 minutes.
