How to Install MMD Classic Quarter Window Louvers on your 1994-2004 Mustang

Before beginning, thoroughly clean the
quarter windows to make sure they are
free of any dirt or contaminants.
To ensure a strong bond, please make sure
you use the alcohol prep pads and 3M
Adhesion Promoter as illustrated in the
instructions.
Step 1
There is a small piece of rubber weatherstripping on some 99-04 cars that will have to be removed prior to installation. If it is present on your vehicle, simply start pulling the strip out as shown in the photo below until it comes completely out of the channel. ***Removing the rubber strip
will not cause any issues, as the negative space will be taken up by the window cover and prevent any possible leaks***
Step 2
Using the supplied alcohol prep pads,
thoroughly clean the outside edges of the quarter window where the adhesive will attach.
Step 3
Peel the backing from the 3M Adhesive as shown below.
Step 4
Place the cover on the window, aligning it first with the bottom rear corner and
weatherstripping. Once the it is properly
aligned, press down firmly around the
outside edges to fully seat the adhesive.
Repeat Steps 1-5 for the opposite side.
