I'm talking about the matte black, or pre painted roof spoiler, available for all 94-04 Mustangs. This is another innovative part from industry leader MMD who continues to produce must have styling mods specifically for your 79 or newer Mustang. So the design team at MMD wanted to come up with a way to add a dynamic element to the 99-04 cars and speed up the look of the car even when it's standing still. This roof spoiler was the result. This spoiler has been made using vacuum formed ABS plastic so besides being lightweight it's also extremely durable and it should have no effect on visibility out of the rear window. As I mentioned at the beginning of this video, the spoiler is available in a matte black finish, or for a few bucks more you can pick it up in a color matched pre painted version. That pre painted version does get sprayed right here at AmericanMuscle.com headquarters, using the same base and clear coat that Ford uses in their factories, so as you might have guessed, the color match is rather impressive. Installing MMD's roof spoiler is a total piece of cake and should take you no more than 15 minutes using the included instructions, along with the 3M adhesive tape. Of course you'll want to make sure the window is nice and clean first using the alcohol prep pads, and then use the adhesion promoter wherever that 3M tape will go. After that simply adhere the roof spoiler carefully to the rear window, and that's it.
