Precision-Cut Steel. The Motive Performance Ring Gear and Pinion Kit - 5.14 Gears are engineered with some of the most demanding applications in mind. That is what makes this kit perfect for use on both the street and the track. Carefully crafted from 8620 steel, these steeper gears have been CNC-cut and heat treated for optimal strength and performance. The result is improved acceleration and better off-the-line responsiveness. You'll be happy to know, also, that Motive Gear does not carry a reputation for "gear whine".
Measurements. This kit features a gear ratio of 5:14:1, a ring gear diameter of 8.8 inches and a pinion shaft diameter of 1.626 inches.
Expert Level Install. Mechanical expertise is required in order to properly perform this install. It is recommended that you have this kit professionally installed by a licensed mechanic or shop. Total install time is estimated to be 4 hours.
