can this oil be used on the x charger super charger you used to sell

reddevil89

  • We recommend using specific supercharger oil when changing the oil in your supercharger. Both Ford and GM make specific supercharger oil that could be used in the X-Charger Supercharger.

Which oil should I put on my 2012 v6 mustang

  • It is recommend to use whatever grade oil that the manufacturer recommends. This can be found on the oil cap. As for brand, it all depends on what you like best. Each brand has different additives.

i have a 16 gt and people always tell me to run 5w 50 instead of the 5w 20 like it says on the cap, is there any benefit? or is it just a preference?

Tireslayer25

  • It is allows recommended to run the oil that the manufacturer states. This will ensure the car functions properly at all temperatures. Though, if you start doing heavy engine modifications to the car, then a different weight oil may be needed.

Motorcraft is the only way to go

Best product on the market if you own a Shelby GT500. Also one of the only oils you can use if your car is still under mfg warranty. Highly recommend.

    good quality oil

if you have an aluminator motor from ford, this is the oil they specify to use. If thats the case make sure you pick up enough to fill the 8qt oil pan.

    Very good oil.

I used this exclusively in my 2007 Shelby GT500. Now I use it in my 2009 Supercharged GT. The comfort level of knowing you have that 5w50 safeguarding the engine is enough for me. I tried to get Mobil 1 5w50 but it's hard to get your hands on unless you live in Europe. I would definitely recommend it for turbo and supercharged engines.
