Hey guys, Adam here with americanmuscle.com. And today we're taking a closer look at the MP Concepts single tip insert for the MP Concepts GT350 style rear diffuser fitting the '15 to '17 GT premium and EcoBoost premium. Right off the bat, guys, if you're looking to pick up or already have picked up the GT350 style rear diffuser from MP Concepts, you have to keep in mind what style tips you have for your exhaust in order to get the proper inserts. Now, right out of the box, the GT350 style diffuser itself comes with quad tip diffuser inserts to work with a quad tip exhaust, but if you're like us and you have the '15 to '17 GT with the single tip exhausts, then you need to pick up this particular insert, the single tip exhaust insert, from MP Concepts for this diffuser. You wanna be able to convert it from the quad tip diffuser back to a single tip diffuser to correct for your particular exhaust style. Now if you're not looking to pick up a full quad tip cat-back or axle-back which can cost several hundred if not thousands of dollars, just picking up this insert here can correct that option. So, you have a couple of things to look at in the category in terms of personal preference. If you're going to get a full quad tip, there are other inserts and quad tip exhausts available. This is for the guys just looking to adapt to the current exhaust they have. This particular insert has a mesh style design to match with the rest of the inserts on the MP Concepts GT350 style diffuser and it's made from injection molded plastic. And it's a super simple install. It snaps right in place on the back side or the inside of the diffuser here from MP Concepts. You can pick these inserts up as a pair for right around 50 bucks. Really cost effective compared to picking up a quad tip or even some aftermarket tips there to work with your new diffuser. The install, I'm giving one out of three wrenches on our difficulty meter here but I will say, in order for this insert to work, of course you have to have the GT350 diffuser itself, the full diffuser. In this video, I'm gonna be focusing on just the installation for the insert and then getting the whole thing installed on the car. So this is assuming you already have the insert on hand and already have the factory valance uninstalled. Now if you're looking for the full uninstall, check back on the diffuser video itself. Now the install for this is gonna take you about an hour from start to finish once you have the new diffuser in hand and ready to go on and then of course it's just a matter of bolting things back up. What do you say we get started? Tools used in this install include: an impact gun, a ratchet, a couple of extensions, 7 and 10-millimeter deep sockets, Phillips head socket or a Phillips head screwdriver, panel removal tool and a small flat head. All right. So now we can line up...just lining them up to the tabs on the side here and snapping them into place. All right. You just wanna seat these all the way back. Make sure you're hearing that click so it holds itself in place there and then we can do the same thing on the other side. At this point it can be a little bit tricky but you're basically gonna line this guy up, insert those exhaust tips in and again, we're using the single exhaust tip inserts. Once you have it there, you're gonna lift it up so it snaps in the tabs above the tips. All right. So now that we have this on, we're gonna focus on putting our factory three 7-millimeter screws back in place. I'm just gonna start by hand threading those guys in just to get them started. All right. So now we have to put the push pin back through this bracket but we have to bend this guy upward. So you have to bend it on that crease. Line up those holes. Grab your push pin and put it back through. All right. Now if you remember, we're missing one but you should have two of them there. Repeat this entire section on the other side. All right. So now we just have two more in our wheel well. Grab your factory 7-millimeters. Put them back through. Grab your extension and 7 socket and tighten them down. Repeat on the other side and we have one more step. All right. Last step here, pull down on the diffuser just to get enough clearance for the reverse light and plug it in. It's a little bit higher up now so it's close to this pinch weld here in which case you just need to pull down, snap it in and you're good to go. That's gonna wrap this one up guys. If you're looking to pick up the MP Concepts single tip exhaust insert for your new MP Concepts GT350 style rear diffuser, you can do so to adapt to your factory single tip exhaust. Now if you're looking to do so, you can grab yours right here at americanmuscle.com.
