Description
Advanced Ignition Control. The GM LS Ignition Control, 24X & 58X Tooth Crank, 97-13 MSD 60143 & 6014 is designed to provide precise ignition timing management for GM LS engines. It features a built-in 2.5 bar MAP sensor that enables timing to advance or retard based on intake manifold pressure, supporting both naturally aspirated and boosted applications. The controller supports various reluctor wheel configurations with auto-detection of patterns, making it ideal for both stock and modified LS powerplants. Enhanced tuning flexibility is provided through six pre-programmed non-editable timing tables, three customizable 3-D timing tables, and one customizable timing plot. On-the-fly timing adjustments are easily made using the rotary dial, and comprehensive 8MB internal data logging allows for setup, recording, and review.
Construction and Appearance. Constructed with durable, fully sealed direct plug-in connectors and housed in a rugged red enclosure, this ignition control ensures reliability and ease of use. The surface-mount design includes all necessary mounting hardware and features a robust finish that resists environmental factors, maintaining long-term durability and operational integrity in demanding performance environments.
