    Review & Install Video

Hey everyone Justin with AmericanMuscle.com here taking a look at these stylish low profile mud flaps for your 05-09 Mustang GT. Now I know what you’re thinking, I drive a Mustang, not a big rig, right? I get it, but believe me, these are not your one size fits all truck stop variety, this is a quality part. These splash guards are a great way to keep dirt, debris, and rubber off your ride and protect your paint from any possible chips. The best part, you can hardly tell they’re there. The flaps themselves are constructed from a durable ABS plastic and as you can see, are perfectly cut to match your Mustang’s wheel wells. Installation is a breeze and should take you no more than 20 minutes using standard hand tools. I noticed that some of you on the site have mentioned how well these perform when it comes to keeping your car clean, especially when you’re running a wider rear wheel and tire combination, kind of like we have on our 06 GT here. We’ve got the 19” TSW’s with the big beefy 275 on there. As you can see, the quarter panels are clean as can be. So if you’re looking for an easy, and budget minded way to protect your paint while making a very small impact on styling, you’ll definitely want to check out a set of these mud flaps for your 05-09 GT.

Style and Protection. Now you can add extra style and protection to your Pony at the same with a set of SpeedForm Splash Guards. Splash Guards a.k.a. Mud Flaps are a great way to protect your Mustangs paint from road debris.

Durable Plastic. These durable plastic SpeedForm Splash Guards are perfectly cut to the shape of your Mustangs wheel well for a great fit.

Fitment. This set of four SpeedForm mud flaps are designed to fit the front and rear of the 2005 to 2009 GT & Bullitt Ford Mustang.

Is there any way to order just the front set? I had purchased these a little over a year ago and one fell off the front.

For the rear fenders, what do you do with the two existing screws that hold the bumper on. Wont these screws block the channel from sliding on? Could these screws be used to secure the mudflap?

    • When installing the rear flaps, the two plastic rivets would be reused to attach them.

I have a 2009 GT/CS. My question is, from what I am reading, these splash guards will likely fit on the front of my car, but will probably not work on the rear of the car since the GT/CS has the same rear end as the GT500 Shelby. Am I correct?? Thanks

    • The SpeedForm No-Drill Splash Guards - Front & Rear Set will not work in the rear of your Mustang, and may require slight modification in the front.

      Eh

They look good and all but not worth the price you pay. They kinda got the corner of the market tho, as they are the only ones I have found for the front

      Good looks... while they last.

I love the looks and the fact that these splash guards are very functional. However, so far I've lost 2 full sets of the rear splash guards -- there are no actual fasteners, which is why I've never had an issue with the front.

      Overpriced

For how simple they are, I don’t see why all mudflaps are at least $100. As for the appearance, I am unable to really notice them as my Mustang is a darker color. They do the job well enough as any flap would.

      Spash Gards

These splash guards are pretty solid. I was worried when installed that the rear might come off since it doesn't use the pins. However, it seems to hold up fine. It's nice knowing I won't be getting rocks and road junk on my car. May be a bit pricey but does the job fine looks good on my car.

      Works

They keep the splashes and rock chip count down. That's all that you can expect from mud flaps. The one negative is that they have a tendency to fall off in the snow.

      Good product

All the holes lined up perfectly. No cutting. Look good. Do a pretty good job blocking rocks. Haven't seen snow yet but I will guess they will work AMAZING in the snow.

      Mud flaps

So far so good on these, seem somewhat flimsy. Thought they would be more sturdy.

      Good fit

Yes I know. Splash guards on a mustang. It gets old finding new chips every time you wash your car. They look pretty good. My car is Vista Blue so the blend in really well. Install is 15 minuets tops. The fronts will stay on all the time. The back ones are so easy to install that they will just slide off for shows. A little pricey but well worth the investment to help keep the amount of chips down.

      Protect the Paint!

The SppedForm Splash Guards are easy to install and best of all they keep dirt and debris from building up on fenders and rear quarter panels protecting your paint from dings, chips and scratches.

      Worth it

Made an incredible difference. The rear mud guards aren't super sturdy when in place but I haven't had any issues with them coming off or anything yet.

      Surprisingly simple install

These splash guards are very simple to install the rear just clip in place but remain firmly attached the front use simalar clips but also utilize the 2 lower pins that hold the rocker mounding in place. Again they are held firmly in place. The whole job took less than 20min.
