Take your time and be patient when removing the backing paper
The quality, fitment, and ease of installation are all top-notch.
That being said, I expect that these stripe kits have been sitting on the shelf for a while, as they probably aren't still being produced for a 2003-2004 model year vehicle. This is my second set after a hood repaint and the first set still looked great after eight years.
Expect the graphics to be bonded pretty securely to the backing paper, which means you will have to make sure they have been firmly applied to the hood, worked very well with the included squeegee tool, and allowed to remain on the hood for a couple of hours (summer temps - longer if below about 70 degrees F) before you attempt to remove the backing paper. It is important that the application lubricant (window cleaner or soapy water) evaporate completely before the paper is removed. Even then expect the pinstripe portions to want to come off with the backing paper. If that occurs, it is pretty simple to re-lubricate and re-apply the pinstripes separately afterward (just don't pull and stretch the pinstripes because they will neck down and become thinner than the adjacent areas that adhered properly).
Overall, a great price for quality Mach 1 hood stripes.
