How to Install Headlight Splitters - Pre-painted on Your 2010-2012 Mustang GT

Installation

STEP 1

Wipe down the back of the splitter with the supplied 3M Adhesion Promoter as shown.


STEP 2

Wipe down the headlight with the supplied Alcohol Prep Pad as shown.


STEP 3

Apply the provided tape to the back of the splitter and press down to firmly seat it.


STEP 4

Give the tape a minute to fully adhere to the splitter, then pull the backing from the tape as shown.


STEP 5

Place the splitter over the headlight using the alignment dot on the lens for guidance. Also make sure that the splitter is properly positioned on the corner of the headlight as shown.


STEP 6

Once the splitter is properly positioned over the headlight, press down firmly to fully seat the adhesive tape against the lens. Repeat Steps 1-6 for opposite side splitter to complete the installation.
