Description
Premium Tow Hook. The Premium Tow Hook with Red D-Ring is designed to provide secure recovery and towing capability for your vehicle in demanding situations. It firmly attaches to the chassis with multiple receiver setup options including front, rear, center mount, and combinations thereof, allowing easy hook-up for towing or recovery.
Construction and Appearance. This tow hook features a custom forged D-ring powder coated in red, combined with clad steel heim-joint hardware attached to a black Chromoly steel shaft. Stainless hardware is used throughout to ensure durability and corrosion resistance. The finish offers both strength and an attractive aesthetic that complements your vehicle's styling.
Installation. Installation for the front receiver requires no drilling and is performed from below, although the shaft is a very tight fit through the front grille and may require trimming from the back side of the grille opening. Small modifications to the plastic air duct toward the radiator are also necessary. Rear receiver installation requires removing the rear bottom extractor and drilling holes for mounting.
Application. Designed specifically to fit the 2018-2023 Mustang GT or Performance Pack. Customers with non-performance pack vehicles should mention this in their order to receive the appropriate additional hardware. This tow hook meets the SCSA 2-inch safety requirement and fits with minimal required modifications.
