Hey I’m Justin with AmericanMuscle.com, and I’m taking a closer look at this textured ABS rear window louver, fitting all 94-04 Mustangs. Rear window louvers were all the rage back on the 60’s and 70’s muscle cars, and honestly are more popular than ever here on today’s Mustangs. Unlike other louver products, this product is constructed from durable textured ABS and not aluminum. The textured finish is going to give the louver a very unique look, while offering all the durability you’d expect from an ABS plastic part. Taking a closer look at our 2000 V6 behind me, you can actually see how well the louver has been molded to the shape of the rear window, which is going to allow for slightly better visibility. Finally, the louver features a very cool lift off design, which just makes it a little easier to remove whenever it comes time to clean that back window. Included in the package you’ll find the louver itself, 7 tie down plates, all the necessary hardware and of course the installation instructions. The install itself is relatively painless and if you follow the detailed instructions, should only take you about an hour to complete. So if you really dig the retro vibe that a rear window package offers, and you enjoy the textured finish and durability of the ABS plastic, then this louver is a great choice.
