With a heavy-duty 8.80-inch steel construction and the ratio you need to power through the track and the street, you’re going to feel the power your Mustang has been hiding behind that lower gear ratio.
4.11 Gear Ratio. This gear ratio makes for a perfect blend of power and fuel efficiency so you can power through your time on the street or on the track. They’re a solid improvement that brings some more power to your conventional Mustang ring and pinion.
Heavy-Duty Construction. This ring and pinion have been forged from solid, heavy-duty 8620 steel. It provides superior strength and durable power for years to come.
Recommended Upgrade. This ring and pinion kit is going to make your speedometer inaccurate if you are not using the same ratio as before. You can adjust that using a handheld tuner if you have it available.
Installation. This ring and pinion is a very mechanically-advanced kit, requiring hand tools and advanced tools. It will take a minimum of four hours to install by yourself, but due to the intricacy and difficulty of the task, professional installation is recommended.
