The lowered center of gravity drastically improves handling, reducing body roll when cornering and excessive nose-dive when hard-braking. You’ll also notice an improvement in traction, especially when you start gaining speed. These springs meet the strictest manufacturing standards so you can get the best performance out of your Mustang.
Sporty, Robust Stance. These Pedders lowering springs will not only improve your Mustang’s handling and traction, they’ll also make your sports car look even sportier. With a drop height of 30 mm in the front and rear, you’ll reduce the gap between the tires and fenders for a sleeker, speedier, and more robust look.
Built for Toughness and Longevity. These lowering springs are made in Pedders’ headquarters in Australia, following strict ISO 9001 quality manufacturing standards. These springs are hot-coiled, oil-quenched, furnace-tempered, and shot-peened for superior strength and a consistent ride height over the years. Moreover, these lowering springs are scragged to precondition and test their load resistance. After a series of other quality tests, these springs are then powder-coated for long-lasting corrosion resistance.
Linear Spring Rate. This set of Pedders lowering springs have a front spring rate of 3.30 kg/mm and a rear spring rate of 14.40 kg/mm. These linear spring rates help provide you with optimum traction. Note that you’ll experience a slightly rougher ride compared to springs with a progressive rate, but you’ll have more consistent handling feel at any speed. If you are targeting a sports- or performance-based applications, these lowering springs are a great choice.
Clears Both Stock and Aftermarket Wheels and Tires. These lowering springs are designed to clear both your Mustang’s stock wheels and tires, as well as other wheel-and-tire combinations specific to your vehicle. With sufficient clearance, you won’t have any issues with tire rub.
Professional Installation Recommended. It’s highly recommended to have a professional perform the installation of these lowering springs to ensure safety and the best results. Installation can be accomplished in approximately 3 hours. Afterward, it’s ideal to also have a wheel alignment to make the most out of the handling improvements.
Pedders Warranty. Pedders warranties its full range of suspension parts against defects in workmanship, materials and/or malfunction for 24 Months or 24,000 miles from the time of purchase. If a Pedders part malfunctions during the 24 Month or 24,000 mile warranty period and Pedders determines the part in question to be defective, Pedders will either replace it or repair it at their discretion. Some exceptions apply.
Application. These Pedders Sports Ryder Lowering Springs can be installed on 2018-2024 models of the Ford Mustang GT, Dark Horse with MagneRide, as well as 2015-2020 models of the Ford Mustang GT350.
