I wish I'd gotten a used mirror off of eBay. First, the finish. All fox Mustangs came from the factory in satin black. This product is high gloss--fresh out of the mold. Everyone who buys this mirror must also buy primer and paint. Seems they could paint it at the factory without too much trouble. Second, the mounting. No nuts are included, and my 1990 factory nuts were a different thread. Luckily, I randomly had some nuts that fit. It's off to the hardware store for the rest of you. Third, weather sealing. The factory unit has a rubber grommet. This assembly uses a foam pad. Acceptable, I guess. Fourth, and finally, the reflection. My image is warped. When I pop the mirror off of the mechanism, the image is fine. When I click it back on, the image is warped. Something is wrong with the click engagement, and the mirror is not strong enough to overcome the internal pulling here and there. Bummer. On the plus side, the electrical connector was right, and the motors tilt the mirror as they should.
