      Description

      High-Performance Damper. The PRW Power Sportsman Series Lightweight Harmonic Balancer is engineered to reduce crankshaft vibration and improve engine longevity. It enhances performance and protects internal engine components by absorbing and dampening harmful harmonic vibrations during operation.

      Construction and Appearance. This damper is cast from nodular iron, providing superior strength and durability compared to traditional grey iron OEM dampers. It features a black finish with laser-etched timing marks, delivering both functional and aesthetic benefits.

      Installation. Installation is straightforward and typically requires no drilling, fitting directly onto the crankshaft due to the accurate crank bore. The splined hub and ring prevent radial movement, ensuring a secure fit during engine operation.

      Application. This damper fits the 1997 to 2000 Corvette C4 and suits engines in the 262-350 small block Chevy range within the Gen I series from those years.
