Installation Time: Full Day

Good install, but...
I found the installation of these CC plates to be fine. I'm good (not great) mechanically but was still able to install these with few issues. The parts finish could have been a little better for me. The face of the metal plates has some hazy spots which don't come off, but I can live with that.
The issue came after the install, when driving at slower speeds while turning or hitting bumps I would hear significant popping noises from the passenger side. It took a little while to figure out but in the end the bearing was too tight in it's sleeve and wouldn't turn until significant pressure was put on it, causing the "pop"
It turned out to be a 2 weekend ordeal to resolve the issue. QA1's tech support was great, offering me ideas and eventually sending me a new pair of spherical bearings. Had to have the bearings pressed out and in which cost me a bit more $... but the new bearing did the trick.
I can't say that the handling has vastly changed/improved, but what I was going for all along was to get my wheel alignment back into spec and this was accomplished on my lowered '93.
Had the bearing issue not come about this review would be 5 stars all around. But because of the two extra times I had to tear things back apart and the issue with the bearing I have to knock down the stars.
