Description
Hydraulic Bearing Kit. The RAM Clutches Hydraulic Release Bearing delivers superior clutch release performance with a heavy-duty, adjustable hydraulic bearing solution. It ensures smooth clutch engagement and disengagement in high-performance applications, ideal for aftermarket single or dual disc clutch systems and transmission conversions. This bearing improves reliability and durability compared to factory hydraulic systems, making it essential for optimizing clutch operations in performance vehicles.
Construction and Appearance. Made from robust materials, this hydraulic release bearing includes larger, heavy-duty O-rings that enhance durability and prevent leaks. The precision-machined bearing face measures 2.550 inches wide. The complete assembly comes with necessary adapters, lines, shims, and corrosion-resistant hardware for long service life.
Installation. Installation requires moderate mechanical knowledge without the need for drilling or major modifications. The kit connects directly to the factory master cylinder and includes all components necessary for a straightforward setup.
Application. Designed specifically to fit the 1997-2004 Corvette C5 and compatible with similar GM T56 transmissions in LS1 and LS6 powered vehicles. It is not compatible with GM LS7 clutch applications.
