This system gives you an additional 2 speakers over your Mustang’s stock 6-speaker configuration. The resulting sound quality is a vast improvement over stock with hyper-clear highs, detailed mids, and punchy lows. Moreover, this speaker system upgrade eliminates the hassle of sorting out the type of speaker you need, so you spend more time on the road rather than in the garage.

    The Power To Match Your Mood. The Rockford Fosgate 9 Speaker System Upgrade is capable of providing all the power you need allowing you to play your music loud and proud. The door-mounted component speakers provide 80 Watts of RMS power, with a peak power output of 160 Watts. Additionally, the rear deck-mounted 2-way speakers punch in at 75 Watts RMS with a peak power output of 150 Watts. Likewise, the subwoofer puts out a chest-pounding 600 Watts RMS and 1,200 Watts of peak power. Managing the subwoofer is a mono amplifier that provides 500 Watts at 1 Ohm, ensuring distortion-less music.

    Nine Speaker Upgrade. The Rockford Fosgate 9 Speaker System Upgrade includes all necessary speakers required to replace your factory system, as well as 2 extra speakers for added detail. The included component speakers are made up of a 6.5-inch woofer that mounts on the door, and a pair of 1-inch dome tweeters for the A-pillars. Additionally, the component speakers come with a pair of crossovers that allows you to proper high-frequency fine tuning. The rear deck speakers are a pair of 6.5-inch 2-way speakers that features a built-in aluminum tweeter. Rounding out the speaker setup is a subwoofer for the trunk. Meanwhile, the included subwoofer amplifier measures just 8.625 inches wide x 1.625 inches tall x 4.312 inches deep, for optimal positioning during installation.

    Trouble-Free Installation. Each of the included Rockford Fosgate System Upgrade speakers is designed to mount on existing locations, making installation a relatively trouble-free procedure. Minor drilling may be necessary to properly fit the subwoofer. Additionally, the installation will require just standard hand tools.
