Great look, very aggravating install
I bought this to put a quad-tip Corsa exhaust on, I expected to maybe spend half an afternoon on this, boy was I wrong. I started at 8:30am and finished at 6:00pm, mostly thanks to the terrible template provided for drilling the screw holes. Only 3 of the screws lined up. I recommend you all to dedicate a day or a professional to do this install. Other than the install though, the look is fantastic, and it compliments the quad tips well.Helpful (4)

Little scared to cut into the bumper, but take your time and it will end up very nice!!Helpful (4)

Template supplied to drill the holes for the diffuser is junk. About 7 out of the 13 screws lined up. And I had the template on perfect. So it was not installed error. Garbage design in my opinion.Helpful (4)

I will say this install did take some time and patience. I have to say you have to follow the instructions provided by Roush exactly in order for this install to work. Everything lined up perfectly and cutting was nerve-wracking but the template did help make the installation a breeze. Would recommend for the first time user to use a shop. Having the proper tools made this an easy install. Would also recommend having a second set of hands.Helpful (4)

Not 100 perfect fitting but changes the whole rear end with some cords quad tips definitely would recommend this! (It will involve cutting)Helpful (8)

I feel this could have been designed much better. 13 little screws that hold it on and then a strip of tape. My biggest issue was the supplied template does not fit properly. You will defiantly have some screws that to not line up. I would say about 7 of the 13 actually were on target. And if you have parking sensors, the cut outs on the template are not big enough. The end result may look okay but I feel they could have made this much better. For me, just to add quad tips, knowing what I know now, I would have not done this and simply left it alone and installed a normal exhaust set up. And some say 3 hours to install.... not in my case. I took my time, and walked away when I would get fruastrated. I have yet to install the exhaust to see about fotment issues with the tips that some have reported.Helpful (12)

Fitment was a little off.
Seems didin't match up as I thought they should. Ok, not great but I would buy again to fit the quad tips.Helpful (12)

Not the best instructions, but it gets the job done. Also very nerve racking to cut into the bumper cover. It took me all day to get this to fit right.Helpful (12)

Very disappointed about this valance
Received this valance with much anticipation. It did not come with any directions other than return directions (that should have been a red flag) and a website for placement directions. The paper cut-out that came with the valance was not cut very well to size even though I cut perfectly along the lines. Did not match up to my Corsa exhaust that American Muscle recommended would be a perfect match for this exhaust during my purchase. Exhaust is great but because the Corsa setup has 4.5" tips, rather than 4" tips, the inner muffler tips are touching the new valance and melting it. Very disappointed in the entire process from both Roush and AM. I'm going to go with a GT350 rear bumper and valance which I should have done from the beginning.Helpful (15)
What is different about the Premium Pkg GT vs the Non Premium GT regarding the rear bumper ? My car is not a Premium Pkg GT and I do not have the Trim levels listed on the AM site, so the way I read it, I will not be able to purchase the Roush Rear Valance at all. Correct ? I really was hoping to someday get the Roush Quad tip exhaust to go with it but I guess not. Please let me know if you have any ideas on how to make this work with this Valance or another vendor's Valance so that I could do the Quad tip Roush exhaust. Any ideas would be appreciated.
The main difference between a GT/EcoBoost Premium vs a GT/EcoBoost Non-Premium exterior wise is the rear bumper. A Premium Mustang features a "2-Piece" bumper that features a black rear valance panel (Ford part# FR3Z-17F828-AA) that sits between the lower diffuser and the main bumper. The Non-Premium bumper is a 1-Piece Bumper that does not feature that valance piece. Instead of trying to modify a Non-Premium Bumper and the valance to make it work - which there is no type of instructions available, since Roush designed their valance for the Premium Bumper - it would be easier to remove the Non-Premium Bumper and upgrade to the Premium Bumper.
Will this exhaust fit my 2019 gt non premium?
This is just the rear valance and would not come with an exhaust. However, this will not work on the 18-19 models.
I have a 17 GT premium package with a Corsa sport exhaust. I would like to get the Corsa quad tips, will the Roush rear valance work with this?
The Roush Rear Valance is specifically designed to work with the Roush Quad Tip Passive Axle-Back Exhaust, item # 388835, (https://www.americanmuscle.com/roush-quad-tip-axleback-2015gt.html) and the Roush Quad Tip Passive Axle-Back Exhaust, item # 388836, (https://www.americanmuscle.com/roush-quad-tip-axleback-2015eco.html). This Valance is not designed to work with the Corsa Exhaust.
Hello, can You please measure the package of valance? I need a size for a shipping company: width x length x height. Thank you !
The Roush Rear Valance package measures 62" x 17" x 17".
I wanted to know if I am aloud to get separate parts? Cause my driver side side part broke from the Roush rear valance and I won’t be able to fix it. Is there anyway for me to get that part?
At this time, we do not offer individual components for the Roush Rear Valance. We would recommend contacting Roush directly, as they may be able to supply you with individual components.
The Roush Rear Valance - Pre-drilled for Back-up Sensors will fit on a convertible as long as you have the factory Premium Chassis Packages Trim Levels: 200A/201A/400A/401A.
The Roush Rear Valance is designed to fit with the 15-17 GT, ecoboost, and V6 packages all in premium trim levels as this is pre-drilled for the backup sensors, which are not included, or on ,the standard package mustang gt, v6, and ecoboost.
Since this valance is mainly designed for use with the Roush axle-back exhaust systems, any other exhaust systems will have to meet the same measurements as the Roush exhausts to fit correctly.
Hello! The Roush Rear Valance will fit a GT without the premium package.
