Can you please tell me what the front and rear widths are? Thank you.

    FlorianP

    • The Roush Hood Scoop measures 33” x 26” x 2”, so the width from the front and the rear is the same.

Why is this not offered as painted?

    PaulK

    • The Roush Hood Scoop is only available unpainted. Unfortunately we are only able to offer certain parts pre painted to allow us to keep a sufficient inventory of those that we do offer.

Will roush hood scoop fit 05-09 Mustang?

    Billdo

    • The Roush Hood Scoop - Unpainted (13-14 GT, V6, BOSS) will not fit on the 2005-2009 Mustang hoods as the 05-09's have a steeper curvature to the hood. The Roush Hood Scoop is for the less curved 2013-2014 hoods.

Can you install this on a 2010 GT?

    Kendra

    • The Roush Hood Scoop - Unpainted (13-14 GT, V6, BOSS) will not fit on the 2010 hood as the 2010 hoods are a different shape.

Very nice and looks great. Had a little burr around the edges but no big deal. I painted one day and installed 2 days later. Straight forward directions. Looks factory installed.

      Worth it!

This hood scoop is very well made and had everything I needed to get it installed. After I painted it and got it on the car I was in shock for how much of a different look it gave my stang and I couldn’t be more excited! 10/10 would recommend.

      ROUSH HOOD SCOOP

I had a dealer shop install it. The tape is too thick. This product should come with better instructions on how to avoid showing tape after it has been screwed down. Specialty shop will re-do it for me soon to ensure the hood scoop is flush with hood.

Love how it looks, but pricey.

At first I was going to install it myself after the shop I took it to paint it for $215. They offered to install it as well for an extra $100. In the end, I spent more for the labor and paint then for the scoop itself. I really wish it was one of the parts AM could offer prepainted. It would have saved me lots of time and money because it was pretty simple to install.

      Roush Hood Scoop

Mixed reviews on this one. Overall I like it. Took me awhile to research a scoop that would fit between the GT Premium's hood louvres and still allow my Lemans stripes to stay within the scoop. (See picture I posted. Black w/ white stripes). Had the scoop professionally painted and installed after returning the first scoop I was sent. It was extremely rough, with gouges and thick mold lines. Second scoop was not perfect, but better. The reason I'm not 100 happy with this mod is because the scoop does not conform perfectly to the hood. It is the correct part and fitment, but the edges lift noticeably along the back of the scoop where it faces the driver. I saw a few other customers had this problem too. For as much money and a Roush part it should fit perfectly. There's not much to be done now at this point since holes were drilled in the hood to install.

      Mustang Rousch Hood

This Rousch Hood scoop is awesome. Great quality and it gives your mustang an aggressive look. If you are looking to change your stick mustang I would recommend this hood scoop. It is an easy install, because you have the diagram to make the holes and it tells you where to place it!

Fantastic Hood Scoop that people with notice!

I received the Hood scoop in a short time! I took it to my body shop and they sanded the blemishes and mold marks off before they primed and painted it. It was amazing how it transformed the total look of my 2013 Mustang! Now if it is sitting in a parking lot there are a lot of double takes when people see it. The paint shop said it was the best hood scoop as far as durability, quality and installation. I would have installed it myself but I thought it was best they took care of it. ROUSH is a RUSH! Great job to ROUSH and AmericanMuscle for selling a great product!

Ordered this twice and each scoop came in extremely rough - it is costing me an additional $200.00 to repair mold crease and holes. Sides are so rough they casn cut you hand. Had waited twice for scoop - gave up on second one and I am paying for repair. I hope the final result is worth it.

      Sharp looking

Was my first mod on my second mustang and it definitely brings out the car. I have sterling grey with the black hood scope. I only wish since you drill into the hood there would be a way for it to be functional. But I'm happy regardless.
