Hey, guys. Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com and this is my review of the RTR upper and lower grille for the 2015 to '16 Mustang. This is the exact same upper and lower grille that comes OE on the RTR Mustang, so if you really dig that look, then this combo could be for you. And even if you're not too familiar with the RTR Mustang, but you're looking for something to upgrade the front grille and have a different, more of an aftermarket aggressive look as opposed to that stock look, then you might want to check these out. This grille does keep the general idea of that stock three window design, but it does it with a twist that squares off your middle portion more here and accentuates the sides a little bit more than the factory design. It does still keep the honeycomb design, but it's tighter than the stock honeycomb, and I think it generally looks better. This upper grille does eliminate that pony, though, which ends up helping to give a more race inspired appearance that RTR is known for. This is offered as a combo kit, both upper and lower grilles, for just under $450. Or you can buy the upper and lower separate if you don't want to spring for the combo. You're looking at just under $250 for the upper grille alone or about $200 for the lower grille. The install for these grilles is easy, a one out of three wrenches on the scale, but the time for the install's obviously going to change depending on if you're installing both upper and lower grilles or just one or the other. I'd say about two hours to complete both since both grilles are complete replacements. And you won't need anything special to complete the install, but you will be popping off that front fascia, so a jack and some stands might be nice just to elevate the car some.Getting the top factory grille out isn't as hard as you might think it is. There's a soft gasket that comes out with a little help from a screwdriver, and then you can remove the plastic clips that are along the edge. You can just the manipulate the tabs so you can pull the grille out, but be a little careful so you don't break anything. The new grille installs the same way that the factory grille came out. It just snaps into place in the bumper cover, and then the center bumper soft gasket goes right back in after the new grille. After that, it's just a matter of getting the front bumper back on the car the same way you took it off. After seeing these installed here on our own S550, I can tell you that the fit and finish is very much OEM-like. The grilles are lightweight but fit great and seem to be nicely done and sturdy. Wrapping things up here, the RTR upper and lower grilles add a little twist to the factory front grille to give the look that RTR is known for, a modern, aggressive race-inspired appearance. The grilles are complete replacements, and they fit great and even allow a little more air flow to the rad than the factory grilles do. You can check these grilles out more online for yourself. And for all things Mustang, keep it right here at AmericanMuscle.com.
