Forged Internals. If you plan on adding more asphalt-chewing power to your Mustang you will want to consider replacing the stock engine internals with a forged upgrade. Scat Street Strip Rotation Assembly gives you everything you need to ensure your 4.6L V8 can withstand the abuse of making passes down the drag strip. Perfect for forced induction applications with a 9.0:1 compression ratio this Scat Stroker Kit will punch out your 281 cubic inch V8 to a more respectable 300 cubic inches.

Kit Includes. Maximize the displacement of your engine with a cubic inch-enhancing stroker kit that includes a 4340 forged steel crankshaft, 4340 forged H-Beam connecting rods with 7/16" cap screws, forged dish top pistons as well as rings and main & rod bearings.

Compression Ratio. The Scat Stroker Kit will allow for different compression ratios depending on the heads installed. Example: 9.0:1 with 51cc heads.

Serious Upgrade. Replacing the rotating assembly is a serious job that requires a wide range of tools, space, and knowledge. Without a decent mechanical background, it is best recommended to take this to a shop for install.

Application. This Scat Street-Strip Rotating Assembly Kit is designed to fit 2005-2009 Mustangs equipped with the modular 4.6L 3-valve V8 engine - including the GT and Bullitt models.

Does this fit a 2010 gt because it has the same motor why they say 05 to 09

        • Unfortunately, due to the model design change in 2010, even though it has the same engine and may fit, we are not able to guarantee fitment of this rotating assembly for that year car.

what all will i need to get done to the motor like boring wise etc for this to work in my 2006 mustang gt?

        • You will not need to bore the heads when you install this Scat 300 CI rotating assembly. Head boring is not normally done unless you are getting a high top piston. since this is a standard size bore, nothing will need to be done machine wise other than the standard honing.

        Will this make 05 GT 4.6L to a 4.9L?

        • For a conversion of 300 CCI to Liters yes this will punch the car up to a 4.9L.

If placed in a stock gt what needs to be done to install this entire kit? Will I need to bore anything out? Or will everything fit and run fine?

        • To install this kit, your motor will need to be bored .02 over. It would also be recommended to have the machine shop check other clearances on the block while it is getting bored. It is strongly recommended to have this professionally installed. Once it is installed, the only other thing that would be required would be a custom tune.
