Description
Extended Tie Rod Solution. The Synergy Race Development Extended Tie Rod Kit provides an essential upgrade for Mustangs equipped with extended control arms. It solves the issue of tie rods not reaching the spindle after installing control arms that exceed stock length by 1.5 inches or more, ensuring proper steering geometry and handling performance on the track.
Construction and Appearance. This kit features a tie rod body constructed for performance use, paired with a rod end secured by a jam nut. It includes bumpsteer spacers and grade 8 hardware for reliable and precise assembly. The finish prioritizes function and durability over aesthetic coatings.
Installation. Moderate mechanical skills are recommended for installation. The stock spindle hole must be drilled out to accommodate a 5/8" bolt. The kit is designed for straightforward assembly when following the provided instructions.
Application. Designed specifically to fit 1979 to 1993 Mustang models, this extended tie rod kit is intended for track use only and is not DOT approved.
