With a stage-2 clutch, you get better than average clutch engagement and the precise cornering you need especially on track day. But don’t worry about your daily drives as this clutch also provides a comfortable driveability on the streets.
Engineered to Last and Endure. This clutch kit comes complete with a pressure plate, clutch disc, and pressure plate. All these components are engineered to give your Mustang long lasting clutch performance that’s ideal for your application. Case in point, the clutch disc comes with a hybrid of materials that enhances friction without the annoying vibration at high RPMs. One face is a feramic surface and the other, a mix of high metallic and organic content.
Pro Installation Preferred. The installation of this South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Endurance Clutch on your Mustang could be overwhelming for a novice. Certain specialized tools may be needed and the installation could take hours. For these reasons, it’s highly recommended that you hire a trusted mechanic to do the installation.
Warranty Coverage. South Bend warrants the South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Endurance Clutch to against factory defects for 12 months or until it hits its 12,000-mile mark, whichever comes first. However, you are required to register your clutch with the manufacturer within 30 days after the purchase date to qualify.
Application. The South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Endurance Clutch fits late 2001-2004 GT, late 2001 Cobra, and 2003-2004 Mach 1 Ford Mustang models.
