        5 1995 GT - Jose

        New as it can get

Stock sensor was rusting out from wire exposure and that came from the wiring hanging closely to exhaust pipes

        Great quality!

Shipped quick , great fit , plugged right into the stock sensor . Kind of a pain to intall because of the lack of room between the tranny and body plus exhaust all crammed in together but great product . Recommend to anyone. Love American muscle !!

        5 2000 GT - BW

        Speed Sensor Connector

I ordered this part to replace one that was held on with a zip tie. It's a quality piece and does the job perfectly. There's plenty of wire to cut, splice, or solder and it's pretty straight forward.

        5 1989 Other - Cobra99Dave

        Plug fits great

This plug was missing from my car when I bought it and the idle would hang when coming to a stop do to the computer not knowing if the car was moving or not. Splicing this new plug on fixed that problem.

        5 1997 GT - 97RedStang

        Excellent pigtail

Quality is great. Priced $20 or so less then getting it from your local ford dealer. Yet its the same connector quality.

        3 1986 GT - Alien10

        Speed Sensor Connector / VSS

Good fit, However both wires on the pigtail were white. It would be better if one of them were black to signify ground as the other is the pulse wire. As both wires were the same color, additional work is was necessary in determining the signal from the VSS

        4 1995 GT - Jmil918

        Does what it should

My Speed Sensor connector was in bad shape and I replaced it with this one and the connection was much better. It connects a little looser than I thought it would, didnt really "snap" in place, but it will definately hold.

Manual Transmission? Does this work for both automatic and manual transmissions? I know the actual speed sensor has to be specific.

What does the electrical connector do? I'm confused since I have a 91 foxbody and the speedometer is driven manually via cable. So I'm confused as to what purpose the electrical connectors actually serves. If someone can clear this up for me I would much appreciate it.

      • The OPR Speed Sensor Connector is a replacement connector for the Mustangs that came equipped with the electronically driven speedometer. This part would not be needed if you have a cable driven speedometer.
