Could this be the reason my transmission only shifts sometimes

    HoldenW

    • A speed sensor definitely could be the cause of your transmission problems. However it would be tough to know for sure. I highly recommend taking the car to a mechanic for a professional diagnosis.

Will this correct the speed after installing a set of 4:10 gears in the rear axle.

    Anonymous

    • No, this is meant as a stock replacement for a bad sensor. Do re-calibrate the speedo you would need a tune or a new speedo gear

Def better than stock. It's such a small item, but it makes a big difference when it's damaged!
