    • Improves Handling
    • Adjustable
    • Perfect with Other Suspension Mods
    • Gold Finish
    • Fits All 79-93 Mustangs with Power Steering Racks

Improves Handling. Make your Foxbody hug the road by eliminating bumpsteer with Steeda's bumpsteer kit. By correcting your front end suspension geometry and upgrading your worn-out, non-adjustable components to Steeda's fully adjustable parts, you'll get more predictable cornering and better handling.

Adjustable. Steeda's fully adjustable kit provides a wider range of adjustment than other kits to allow you to fine-tune your suspension for improved steering response and crisp cornering.

Ideal for Lowered 'Stangs. The Steeda Bumpsteer kit is the perfect complement to their X2 or X5 balljoints or any caster/camber plates for perfect handling.

No Drill Installation. Unlike other kits which require you to drill your spindle out during installation, Steeda's Bumpsteer kit features spherical rod-ends with tapered shafts for an easy installation with no drilling.

Application. This Steeda Bumpsteer kit is designed for all 1979-1993 Mustangs equipped with power steering racks. Will not work with manual steering racks.

NOTE: Bumpsteer is a change in toe angle caused by the suspension moving up or down. Bump-steer is built into the geometry of the suspension and steering system, and has nothing to do with turning the steering wheel. The effect of bumpsteer is for the wheel to toe-in or toe-out when the suspension moves up or down. This toe change or "steering" occurs any time the suspension moves, whether it is from body roll, brake-dive, or hitting a bump in the road. Bump steer is undesirable because the suspension is steering the car instead of the driver. To fix a bumpsteer problem, you need to alter the height of the outer tie-rod relative to the steering rack with adjustable tie-rod ends, also known as a bumpsteer kit.

Do you all offer a Bumpsteer Kit for a Manual Rack?

    • The Steeda Bumpsteer Kit that we offer would not be compatible with manual racks. You would need the Red Steeda Bumpsteer kit, which we do not offer.

After lowering my car the steering felt flighty when I would hit a bump. After installing the kit it put my tie rods back in the correct geometry in relation to the a arms. My steering feels solid and no more strain on my inner tie rods.

      Steeds bumpsteer

Purchased this because I lowered my 92 GT. Kit works great. Just had professional alignment done. Steering better than stock parts ever did.

      bump steer kit

I lowered my 90 GT with Ford C springs and ended up with steering that wandered. I ordered my kit installed it and took it to the alignment shop and it's a bit more complicated alignment but the results were simply awesome and completely worth it

      Steeda Bumpsteer Kit (79-93 All)

I just bought the Steeda Bumpsteer kit and had it installed right away because after lowering my Mustang GT my steering was being pulled left and right with every bump and dip in the road. After installation and alignment, my front end steering control has improved at least 85-90%. Addition improvement will be added once I replace my old rubber front control arm bushings with urethane bushings, but at least the violent steering pulls are gone and predictable steering control is restored. I highly recommend this kit to any all Mustang owner who has or is planning to lower their cars.

This is a great bumpsteer kit from Steeda. I do recommend a shop installation. You should have your alignment checked after install.
