Can this be installed with the BMR IRS Cradle Bushing Lockout Kit?

    Definitely a step in the right direction

    These shims definitely make the car feel better going down the road. Less bouncy. I'll be adding vertical links and rear subframe supports soon to give them a little extra help. If your car is a driver, I'd go this route over the Ford Racing bushings to keep NVH down. About an hour and a half to put in. The lower rear was frustrating, but you can do it.

    Bushing Insert Kit works Great

    Have had this kit installed in both an EcoBoost and a GT. Works great with their IRS rear braces. It may not get rid of the wheel hop entirely, but what is left is very controlled and not violent. I do not believe things will be breaking as when it wheel hops stock. As an Install tip, I found it easier on the split bushing insert to put one of the bolts into the small side first, threaded about half way. Then when you insert it you can pull it threw with a set of pliers by using the screw. Take screw out and add the outer piece. Doing it this method I was able to install these in about 30 min.

    NVH, clicking noise as diff moves

    Had mine professionally installed... the placement and install is correct, but they definitly added a tap or clunk when transitioning from power on to power off.. and vice versa... they also transfer a bit of vibration to the body and I hear a gear whine from the already loose and noisy rear Torsen diff. makes highway travel tough since the whine sounds like the ear ringing of tinnitus. 2016 GT Premium performance pack.

    Works at advertised

    this product works at advertised. it does not completely eliminate NVH, but reduces it. installing the rear 2 piece bushing was a bit of a pain. instead of using a screw driver to inch in the bushings, I used a small vice grip and it was so much easier to line up. overall this product works well and I would recommend it. of course, there are other less expensive similar products out there for those with a much more budget conscious.

    Great product, bad clunking.

    I installed mine a few months ago and been having an issue with clunking ever since I installed them. Took it to the dealer to see if there was something wrong with the rear end. I will be removing them this weekend to see if the clunking has gone away. If so, I will be notifying Steeda and let them know that they need to see if they can remedy the situation.

    Easy install.

    Hour install for both sides. Bottom rear spacer is easy. Install the Allen head bold and pull it with pliers. Make sure you lube it. Went into position in no time.

    Must have for big power cars

    These definitely help plant the rear tires. My car has a supercharger and at this power level the car was all over the place. The car wouldn't launch hard until I installed these and the other steeda red bushing for the rear. install was fairly easy, watch the youtube video which shows you exactly where each piece goes.

    Excellent return on your suspension investment

    These tighten your IRS system and minimize wheel hop. It is noticeable in acceleration. They are made of aluminum and appear to be very well designed.

    stop the hop

    great product stiffend up the rear a little tricky to install get the alignment bushings at the same time helps with wheel hop not totally gone but big improvement install time around 2 hours

    Did not eliminate wheel hop

    Amplified noises and no they did not eliminate my wheel hop. They will reduce it slightly. Uninstalled 2 weeks later after testing the car out at the drag strip. Slight wheel hop reduction was not worth all of the extra noise in my daily driver. Might be worth it to someone looking who does not use their Mustang as a daily.

    Definitely reduced wheel hop.

    I used a jack and jack stands and it was a pain in the butt install. Wheel hop is greatly decreased and the rear seemed a lot stiffer. Had no fitent issues on my 15 GT with performance pack.

    Steeda IRS Subframe Bushing Support System

    Installed the Steeda IRS Subframe Bushing Support System and was very disappointed. The quality is great. Detailed instructions. However, the car still has wheel hop from a launch. 1-2 shift is a little better than stock. I also noticed an increase in vibration at normal cruising speeds.

    Easy Mod

    This is an easy mod and should take an hour or less if you've done it before. As the previous review stated, the two piece spacer is the hardest to get into place. After an hour of trying to get the smaller half shoe around the steel frame and rubber bushing, we came up with a for sure way to make it 110x easier to install. After spraying lube, we got the half shoe just around the bend and inserted the screw. We then used channel locks and clamped down on it, while pulling the channel locks and pushing the other end with a screw driver, BAM! Came right around. The other side took 2mins repeating the process. The ride is a little bumpier, but I also inserted new springs and dropped an inch. I think $100 would be more reasonable for this item.

    Well Worth It

    This kit is very well worth it! Can easily be done in the garage on jack stands and within an hour. Just follow the directions and lower the IRS subframe and place them in. The only tricky one is the two-piece insert. Start with the back half first- Grease and a rubber hammer help push it in place. No difference in NVH when driving, but even on the factory Pirellis I could notice a big difference. Hard launches/Hard shifts are much better than before. You can feel the rear of the car stiffen up, rather than squish and deflect power!

    Great so far.

    I put these on the other day with the subframe support frames as well as the differential bushings. For AM to say there is almost no NVH increase after installing this is hilarious. I can hear the reverberations from the grooves on the highway now. Awesome product. Definitely worth the money. Took me 45 minutes after work in my stall.

    Finish and appearance wise, this kit looks good. I ended up doing the BMR cradle lock out after more research and talking to other owners.
