    Review & Install Video

Hey guys, Stephanie with AmericanMuscle.com, here with the Street Scene chin spoiler for 2015 and up Mustangs. The Street Scene chin spoiler's going to be a good option for the non-performance pack S550 owners out there that are looking for a noticeable way to change the front end appearance of their Mustang without having to spend a ton of money. There are a few options as far as front chin spoilers and splitters go, and they range from being a small and subtle add-on to one that will totally change the looks of the front end, and they also have a decent range in price. With the aspects of change in looks and price in mind, I'd personally place this chin spoiler on the side of having more of an appearance change but for less of a price. The front end of the S550 has a lot of dimension and detail to it, and even though this is one of the more aggressive chin spoilers, it's still going to work with the lines of the car. The molding works with the fog lights and the lines of the lower grille. It wraps right around the front fascia and shares the same angle right around the fog lights here, and then smooths out where the lower front grille gets smooth. It also extends down some, and you can see that this is a big chin spoiler. It has a lot of material to it. It's thick, and that's what helps to make it stand out, in my opinion. As far as overall change in looks with this chin spoiler, like I said earlier, this is going to be one of the more aggressive chin spoilers, in my opinion. A splitter can help change the looks of the car, but a splitter has a little bit of a different design. It extends more outward than anything else. Your other options are the CDC Outlaw, which is also a different kind of look. The CDC's going to replace the factory chin splitter, though, and go over top of the lower grille area, which takes away some of the detail, in my opinion. On the other hand, the Street Scene here works with the factory piece and maintains all of the detail around the fog lights and the lower grille. Then you've got your carbon fiber pieces, which I consider the most aggressive in terms of changes, but they're also the most expensive. As far as materials, this is an OEM quality urethane material, which is a common material to use for exterior modifications. It's commonly used because it's lightweight and very durable, so it'll hold up through all kinds of weather and still maintain its looks, and it won't need a ton of additional support for the install. If you had a heavy chin spoiler, you'd need to back it with enough hardware to stay attached to the front fascia. It's also a flexible material, so if you even bump the chin spoiler or knock it against, say, a parking block for example, you know that it's going to have a certain amount of flex to it so it won't break or snap right away. That's always a nice feature for street cars. So the urethane does have a black finish as you can see here, and this is how it's going to ship to you, but this is a paintable material if it's prepped properly, in case you're considering going down that road. One thing that's nice about the black finish, though, is that it'll look nice with any car, any color, and not look out of place. When it comes to fitment, this chin spoiler's designed to fit all 2015 Mustangs, this means the Ecoboost, the V6, and the base GT models with the factory front fascia installed. I mentioned it earlier, but this chin spoiler works with the factory front fascia, which is what helps to make it look different, in my opinion. But, this will not fit with the performance pack optional front splitter, so just keep that in mind. As far as price, you're looking at spending a little over $200 for this chin spoiler. This is on the less expensive side when it comes to chin spoilers and splitters for the S550. Prices for these after-market upgrades range anywhere from $200 all the way up to $700 for the carbon fiber options. This is a very easy install. The chin spoiler installs with double-sided tape and a few small self-tapping screws. It attaches to the underside of the stock bumper cover, and will take less than an hour to complete, and will be a one out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter. Wrapping things up here, the Street Scene chin spoiler is an easy and inexpensive way to aggressively change the looks of the front end of the non-performance pack S550s. It's made from a paintable urethane material and ships to you with a black finish that'll match any car. It's also very easy to install, and you can check it out more online, right here at AmericanMuscle.com.

Aggressive Street Styling. A quick and easy way to add aggressive street styling to the front end of your S550 Mustang is by installing a Street Scene Chin Spoiler. The Street Scene Chin Spoiler extends the sculpted lines of the factory front fascia to further enhance its aggressive appearance. The Street Scene Chin Spoiler is ideal for those who want to be noticed, no matter where they go.

Durable Urethane Construction. Street Scene manufactures their Mustang Chin Spoiler from a rugged OEM quality urethane material for its light-weight and superior durability. This Street Scene Front Chin Splitter can handle the bumps and abuse of daily driving while still keeping a show-quality appearance.

Simple, Straight Forward Installation. Designed to install with double-sided bounding tape and small self tapping screws the Street Scene Front Chin Splitter attaches to the underside of the stock bumper cover. Installation of the Street Scene Chin Spoiler should take less than an hour to complete.

Paint-able Black Finish. The Street Scene Front Chin Splitter ships in its natural black urethane finish that can be installed as is, or can be painted to match your Mustangs exterior color. AmericanMuscle recommends professional installation of all body parts. We also recommend test fitting these products before they are painted.

Application. The Street Scene Front Lip Chin Spoiler is designed to fit al 2015 to 2017 Coupe and convertible Mustangs including the V6, EcoBoost and base GT models with the factory front fascia installed. Will not fit with the "Performance Pack" optional front splitter from Ford.

Is the color that comes with it that glossy black, or if I want the oem matte finish would I have to get it painted?

    Ecoboosted

    • The finish of this spoiler would come as a semi-gloss finish that would look good on the car as is!

Hi, will these fit 2015 GT 50th anniversary?

    • The Street Scene Front Chin Spoiler will fit the 2015 Mustang with the 50th Anniversary package. However, it will not fit Mustangs equipped with the Performance Package.

WHY DOES THIS CHIN SPOILER NOT FIT THE PERFORMANCE PACKAGE.I CHECKED WITH FORD AND THE FRONT COVER IS THE SAME, JUST THE LOWER PERFORMANCE PACKAGE SPOILER IS DIFERENT.

    CHUCK

    • The Street Scene Front Chin Spoiler - Unpainted (15-17 GT, EcoBoost, V6) only fits none Performance Pack Mustangs because of how it is installed. This Spoiler is installed directly over top the factory spoiler. Since the Performance Pack's come with a different spoiler, this Street Scene Spoiler will not fit over top.

Looks good but has some issues

i love it it looks great but for a permanent mount you defiantly need to screw it to the stock splitter. It comes with cheap off brand tape that only held for a couple weeks. i do get a lot of rain where i live so that obviously didn't help but i still think it should come with a more permanent option.

      Good bang for the buck

I fitted this unit to the car prior to painting it of course and it is very tight fit you will need to tape it with painters tape once in place and then cut the tape carefully for reference when installing permanently. I used my own tape which I always do but there were references to poor quality tape that I cannot document! I also sanded the area where you apply the tape for better adhesion ( not on the paint though) I like the way it looks and I made some small braces underneath for better longevity but for the price, it is good quality and the body shop had no issues painting it!!

I would recommend getting a painted version the unpaint come in tones of spotting Black it’s a easy install and looks good. But the discoloration gives it its flaws and seems to scratch easy

      Poor quality

I painted mine it took many of hours to sand it and fill pinholes along with imperfections. I will never buy a product made by street scene again. I never had a problem with any other brand names when it came to prep and painting.

      I like the look but...

The first one I received came so badly scratched. It was as if someone dragged it back and forth against some concrete. But AM replaced it for me very quickly. Now that it's installed, I have to say, the reviews complaining about the tape that comes with it are very true. The tape is absolute cr@p.. So now one side is sagging a little. I will bring my car to a body shop and see if they can do a miracle. Other than that the look (pre sag) is very nice.

      meh

I went on fairly but all that holds it on is 3mm tape an 2 screws if the tape doesn't stick and you already screwed it in then, or the tape holds then becomes non adhesive then it sags and looks terrible. Overall took about 2 hours to install properly

You get one heck of a bang for your buck with this chin spoiler and no need to have it painted, looks great as is by providing separation by contrast.

      Take it on the Chin

Love the look. Install was a bit more than bargain for with the provided tape. Had to request additional tape and promoter to help with holding in place. Otherwise makes the front end look aggressive and racy.

      Love the look

Love the look and fitment, but the provided tape does not stick whatsoever. Had to contact AM for a roll of real 3M tape for it to adhere. Other than that, it fits great, was easy to plasti-dip for a finish that matches the stock trim.

      I Love it!

The Street Scene chin spoiler is AWESOME. I think it adds the perfect look to the front end. I painted it to match the factory magnetic metallic. For the money this is one of the best mods you can make. It fits perfect and retains a factory look but more menacing. Kudos Street Scene!

      Aggressive

Great product delivered quickly. Car looks super aggressive now. A bit of advice. Package is shipped with some two sided tape. Throw it away and get some 3m tape, it just fell off on its own. Prep the surface first. Be sure it's at least 65 degrees when you install and press firmly for about 30 seconds. Took about an hour once I had good tape. Thanks AM!

      Love how it looks

Love how it makes the car look, definitely worth getting for the money I don't think there is any other exterior mod that can give the car a more aggressive look, only complaint is the finish on it, I didn't want to have to paint it but mine came with about a foot long mark that looks like if the finish was sanded off.
