OPR's right side tailpipe hanger that we have here will be a solid and affordable replacement for all '86 to '98 V8 Mustangs, or a necessary part for all '94 to '98 V6 Mustangs who might be looking to convert to a true dual exhaust system. Now, construction will be a combination of a zinc-coated steel plate along with a fresh rubber bushing or isolator for around 60 bucks. Install, at least according to the site, is going to get a soft two out of three wrenches on the difficulty meter due to the location of the hanger underneath the car. But the simple two-bolt job should be pretty straightforward, and take you no more than an hour or so to complete from start to finish. So, it's going to be a pretty short video, guys, because this is a pretty simple product designed to do one of two things, either your factory 30-plus-year-old hanger is shot and you need to replace it, or you have an early SN95 V6, and you're looking to install a true dual exhaust system. Either way, this is going to be a great option for you. Now, the hanger is extremely similar to that of your factory option that you will be replacing that came on those V8 cars back in the day. However, some minor improvements have been made to the OPR unit such as that zinc coating on the stamped steel bracket just to prevent any corrosion over the years, and of course, you're getting a nice fresh rubber bushing or isolator to replace that dry rotted stocker on your Fox or SN95.Well, what you see is what you get here, guys. This kit does not include any new bolts or hardware, so that is one thing to keep in mind. Now, if your stock bolts are perfectly fine, they're not rusted out, no big deal, right? However, if yours have been pretty beat over the years, terribly corroded or rusty, or if you are a V6 owner looking to convert to duals, you will need to grab some fresh hardware prior to the install. Also worth pointing out, guys, is the fact OPR does sell a matching left side isolator or hanger here on the site for right around the same price point. So, you just need to replace both, be sure to grab both sides before checking out. Now, as far as your actual install is concerned, the site is going to go two out of three wrenches on the old difficulty meter here simply because of the location of the part. And they are also going to call this about an hour or so to complete from start to finish. Again, it's not a terribly difficult job, but because you do need to get underneath the car to gain access to those two bolts, the site's just automatically going to nudge things up to a soft two out of three wrenches. But basic socket set, and again about an hour's worth of your time, and you should be ready to rock and roll. But again, whether you're looking to just freshen things up, or maybe add some duals to your SN95 V6, be sure to check out OPR's affordable hanger right here at americanmuscle.com.
