What spark plugs and cables to use The only mod i have in my v6 musatng is a CAI. Last time I had it done by amechanic he put in the wrong ones given to me by the part store. I'm looking at this taylor wires and the NGK spar plugs from AM. Any suggestion on whats best. I have a 2000 v6 convertible musatng. Thank you!!

    • both will fit perfectly....performance distributors live wires will out last the spiro pro.... you may never have to change them again...and look very cool

Ohms Rating Importance I see wires rated from 50 to 350 to 500 to 3500 on some. How much difference does this make on performance? I am putting CAI & 65 mm throttle body with new coil, wires, NGK G-Power plugs and Bama tuner chip, so I don't want a weak link in the wires.

    • ohms is the amount of resistance in the wire. volts push current through the ohms and get used up. The wires will not make your car faster, they are preventive maintenance. You need to use wires with the same ohm rating as stock, for your car. Too much ohm and the spark will be too weak. Too low and the spark may damage the plug or electrical system. .

Craftsmanship and fitment was great! Bought and installed right when I purchased car so I can't tell if there's any performance behind them.

These wires made the installation almost too easy. The shotty stock wires were stiff and all but unmanageable. These Taylor Spiro's were soft, pliable and super easy to work with. Great product, and even greater when paired with my new MSD coil pack and new NGK plugs! Don't forget to reuse your wire clips!

      Great Wires

The wires are great, the look and performance. The only problem I had which i've never had with wires is one didn't clip in all the way causing back fire on rpm increases. I recomend these wires just make sure they pop in if not then squeeze the end like i had to. Thank you AM.

Taylor Spiro Pro 8mm Spark Plug Wires (99-00 V6)

Shipping was fast as usual. Ordered alongside NGK V-Power Performance plugs. Installation was easy except for the fact that the previous owner of my mustang never changed out the plugs for scheduled maintenance. So the plugs were rusted into the block, and the old wires were a pain to get off. Other than that, no problems. Good gains in mpg, and brought my 2000 mustang back to life.

      Did their job!

Wires were flexible and really mad it easy to work around the engine bay... the previous wires were a struggle to get to and take off. Anyways definitely a must buy if you plan on getting Spark Plugs. American Muscle comes through clutch yet again

      Great Plugs

Fairly easy install if you can change your own spark plugs you can do this took about 30 minutes. If your looking to replace your current ones for the price I couldn't find a better set.

      awesome plugs

These plugs were fairly easy to install and replace the original wires. I am stationed in Germany, and my stang lost its get-up-and-go on the Autobahn. These plugs definitely put the pep back in my car and cruising at 120 mph is easy again.

I would not run any other plug wires in my mustang. I installed these with a set of NGK Plugs and my car sounds and runs better than new.

      Great Plugs

Took a little while to get the wires out from behind the motor to replace but once they got put in my car sounds better than before and runs smoother
